This weekend I noticed a man walking around Honey Lake Resort and though I didn’t know him, I took notice because he sported a long blond ponytail. (You might not consider wearing a ponytail odd enough these days to even take notice, but he appeared to be in his early fifties and not that many people that age wear two foot long ponytails.)
I didn’t ever get a chance to speak to him, but I did see him several times throughout the weekend; he was in the restaurant, walking around the campus, in the gift shop, and he even attended my bible study class and church services.
I went to the Sunday brunch after church and I was approached by a minister from Albany GA whom I’d met two years earlier and he informed me that the guy with the ponytail wanted to meet with me, and in fact had driven all of the way over from Jacksonville just to do so. I agreed and later that afternoon they all came over to my house along with their wives.
It turns out that the man’s name is Brig Hart and he is, (according to articles that I found later on Google), widely acknowledged as the most successful direct marketer of all time. He started with Amway and went on to build several other multi-level businesses and ultimately amassed several multi-billion dollar empires. Suffice it to say that he’s not only personally very wealthy but holds the distinction of making millionaires of some 500 of his direct market distributors as well.
He’s also a radically sold out Christian who loves the Lord and has led tens of thousands of his devoted direct marketer followers and others to Christ, and even baptized over 500 of them in a hotel swimming pool at one of his direct marketing distributor convention meetings. He loves Jesus with all of his heart and has written several books about his methodology and belief system.
So somehow he heard about me, read my book, Googled me, and discovered that I was spending my time these days putting a team together and planning a massive campaign to renew America and restore her to her former foundational values and steadfast faith in God.
Brig astounded me by telling me that he is doing the exact same thing, and in fact has been working on it for some time now and wanted to talk to me to find ways whereby we can work together on this important project and not replicate efforts and therein waste valuable time (and money).
It was of course a given to me, that the Father had put this meeting together and I listened with keen interest to his plan and also shared my own. What I gleaned from him is that he has learned that he can reach people far easier by talking to them in a live setting than he can with videos, books, or other media. He wants to fill up stadiums with people and share the Renewal of America dream directly to their faces; (direct marketing 101)
So he’s gone out and lined up all kinds of country singers out of Nashville and is preparing to send them on tour to 30 different cities all over America. The concerts will be free and the entertainers are big name stars, so it is a given that the stadiums will fill up. Oh, and by the way all of his country music stars are born again Christians, and intend to share their testimonies and urge the attendees to help us take back this land that we love and restore Christian values to it.
Brig intends to use the concerts to sign up followers of the movement and get them motivated to spend their hard earned dollars with those who love the Lord, (instead of spending them with those who support the forces of evil that are destroying this country). He also wants to influence them to VOTE and do so wisely supporting those who will help us to renew faith in America.
Shazam! What a great idea!
So I have a conference call with Brig and his team on Wednesday, (tomorrow), to discuss how we can setup a meeting with my team to discuss ideas as to how we can join forces somehow and achieve our mutual goal of renewing faith in America and restore her to that “shining light on a hill” that she formerly was
I was praying about this and other exciting things that are happening this morning and God gently whispered to my spirit that this campaign is not just for a few chosen people but should be inclusive to one and all.
I couldn’t agree more, but how can everyone be a part of this important movement at this early planning stage?
Hmmm . . . By supplying the thing we need most – Prayer! We desperately need prayer (and I personally need it more than you can imagine). Prayer is the answer!
Start right now; wherever you’re sitting right this moment please say a prayer. Pray today and every day and know that it is the most effective thing that anyone could do to assist with this effort and far more important than anything that I, or my team, or Brig, or his team are doing.
Know this and prepare yourself to see it happen – The Father is getting ready to show a miraculous work all across this land and before the dust settles everyone will know that it was Him that made it happen. He is the great and almighty “I AM” and this land is His land, and we are His people, who love Him!
I want to be a part of it and I’m sure that you do as well! I’m humbled that He has seen fit to use me in some small way. I hope you feel likewise.
