According to a poll that I recently studied, 65% of the people in the United States think they have a high quality of life, and 76% are content with their income. Not all is good though only 25% are satisfied with the state of the nation. (I’ve never met one of those people.)

Hmmm How much do you love about your high quality of life right now? Did you know that God is going to destroy the earth and all that is in it? Yep, that includes all of the things that we dislike about our lives, but also all of those things that we love about life. Don’t fret too much though, if you are a Christian you will be able to enjoy a new heaven and earth especially prepared for those who love Christ.

I was thinking about this and wondered what God will destroy first? Then I wondered what He would destroy last. The Bible does not tell us what will go first, (at least i couldn’t find it), but I would not want to be in a brothel or porn shop on that day.

It is easy to see God’s angels destroying the shooting galleries, crack houses, bars, and corrupt evil tyrannical governments throughout the world, but it is difficult to imagine all the splendor of the earth being destroyed too, especially places like Maui, or the Grand Tetons overlooking scenic Jackson Hole Wyoming “burning up in fervent heat”. I’m glad I will have already gone to be with the Lord via either death or the Rapture before He gets down the list and destroys beautiful Honey Lake Plantation and all of the loving work we have put into her.

The Bible doesn’t tell us what goes first, but does go into some detail about which enemy He will destroy last. Do you know which enemy that will be? Take a guess?

Let me give you a hint. Most everyone is absolutely terrified of this enemy. This enemy is known and abhorred by every man, woman, and child on earth. Adam and Eve were the first victims. Do you know the answer?

If you guessed death, then you get the big enchilada. The Bible states that God must deliver the Kingdom of God and put an end to all rule, authority, and power. “For He must reign until He puts all things under His feet”. Then the last enemy will be destroyed death. And oh what a day of rejoicing that will be.

So much triviaso little time

1 Cor. 15:26
The last enemy that will be
destroyed is death.
