I had to fill out a form the other day that asked me for my race. I put human, as in, I am a member of the human race. It is amazing to me of how hung up people are about race, particularly in some areas of the country. There are sections of inner cities comprised of Italians, Polish, Hispanic, African-American, Korean, Greek, Russian, you name it.
Anyone who is not of that particular race is for the most part unwelcome in these areas. I really have never researched my genealogy and honestly do not have any desire to do so. I do not really have an interest in race. I care about individual people. From what I have seen there are honest, ethical, hard-working, intelligent, family-oriented, God-fearing people in every race and there are scum-bags in every race. I don’t care if someone is white, yellow, black, brown, red, purple or maroon, there are good and bad in all shades. We should not generalize about an entire race. God created us all and one day we, (Christians), will all live together forever. If you are currently biased towards other races, how do you think that will make you feel? You might have to live next door to someone of another race forever. Jesus loves us all. He instructs us to love one another and treat “everyone” the way that we would like to be treated. If you are a racist, you cannot obey this command. If you are not following Jesus, then it is of satan. Think about it.

Have we not all one Father?
Has not one God created us?
Why do we deal treacherously
with one another?
