Helping others

Ralph Waldo Emerson once said: “It is one of the most beautiful compensations of this life that no man can sincerely try to help another without helping himself”. I think that this was elegantly stated. How many of us consider helping someone else as helping ourselves to a “beautiful compensation of life”? Listen to what Jesus says about the subject.
