They can’t get there like that and don’t even know it

Our pastor recently observed that the trend today of young women is to expose nearly every part of their body in an attempt to keep up with Hollywoods finest. The Bible instructs women to dress modestly. There are parts of a womans anatomy that should be viewed by their husband only. A quick walk down any beach will confirm that it has reached a point with some women that there is little left to reveal. What they fail to realize is that they cannot reach what they are reaching for by baring it all. Gods laws are irrevocable and He has directly forbidden this conduct. I was musing as to why they dress like this. In the first place, men do not like it, at least in the woman that they love. Yes there is a primal lust that evolves, but what does evoking lust from a bunch of leering men gain for a lady?



Some gals want to keep up with Hollywood and be in style. The Hollywood divas that are idolized and imitated are for the most part a bunch of unhappy drunks and drug addicts desperately reaching for peace and happiness. They have been married and divorced so many times that they cannot even remember which bed to crawl into. The sad thing is that all of the money, sex, idolization, and power in the world will never yield peace and happiness. That only comes from God. They cannot get to the place they want to get and the worst thing about is that they do not even know it. We should pity them and pray for them, because they are lost.



Young ladies should dress modestly and they should act like ladies.
