Mighty God

There is a song that has lyrics to the effect, What a mighty God we serve, angels bow before Him, heaven and earth adore Him, What a mighty God we serve. I watch as the forces of this world try to remove His name from the Pledge of Allegiance, our currency, our government institutions, and on and on and marvel at their stupidity. God is not going away, and no secular force will remove His name from this world. He is long-suffering and the Bible makes that exceedingly clear, but He is mighty and awesome and He makes it equally clear that He is coming soon to judge the world. The Bible states that the beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord. Considering the Bible passage describing how heaven and earth flee from His face, I would be the first to say that I fear the Lord and rightfully so. The secular forces led by the ACLU will one day taste His wrath and unparallel fury when the long-suffering mode expires. Undoubtedly we are in those last days now and time is running out according to His time schedule. Until then, they will continue to make the most of it, somehow oblivious to their impending doom. Dont be swayed by them and work hard for the Lord every day. Our reward will be the removal of every tear, suffering, and sadness for the rest of eternity. All things considered, pretty handsome wages for the small part we contribute. Jesus did all of the real work.
