One test of our faith in God is what we do for God. The Bible refers to it as our works. For example, do you tithe, witness to others about Jesus, study the Word of God, give to the needy, attend church every Sunday etc.? The Bible teaches very clearly that faith without works is dead. Is your faith dead or alive? Some say that they walked down the aisle when they were nine years old and accepted the Lord, were later Baptized and now occasionally go to church. They believe in God therefore are saved. The Bible states that even the demons in Hell know that there is a God and tremble, but that does not save them. The test of faith is your works. If one has really accepted the Lord, it is my opinion that they will have works right along with their faith. The only exception would be someone who accepts the Lord and shortly thereafter dies and goes to be with the Lord. But dont take my word for it, here is some of what the Bible tells us about this subject

James 2:14, 2:17, 2:24

What does it profit, my brethren

if someone says he has faith but

Does not have works? Can faith save

him?

Thus also faith by itself, if it does

not have works is dead

You see that a man is justified

by works, and not by faith only

For the body without the spirit

is dead, so faith without works is

Dead also.
