It seems everywhere I go I encounter a storm. Last week in Salt Lake City it snowed; yesterday in New Mexico it snowed; now today in Atlanta it snowed. I hate cold weather, so for the most part, my mood is as foul as the weather. Life is similar sometimes. At times it seems we cannot escape stormy weather. Life is full of valleys and peaks and when in the valley it seems it takes forever to emerge. Even Jesus dreaded going through the storm, but accepted it as Gods will.

God gives us both, so it must be good for us as God is good all of the time. I have grown to accept the good and the bad in life. Note I did not say that I like to endure storms, but I realize that they will come and that God gives them to me to help develop my character, draws me closer to Him and other purposes that only He understands. So-o-o-o throw another log on the fire and let it snow let it snow let it snow…

Matt. 26:39

My Father, if it is possible, let this

cup pass from Me, nevertheless, not

as I will, but as You will.

How well do you know the Bible?

What is living, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the intents and thoughts of the heart?

Hebrews 4:12
