Liberals are celebrating, conservatives are clinching their teeth. As expected Trump was found guilty on 34 counts in his recent trial. The verdict will most certainly be appealed and likely overturned, but the important thing about this trial is that it marks the beginning of political partisanship in our judicial system of fair trials. Trump’s case was a sham and shame on the Democrats for launching it.

I have decided not to rant about it even though I really want to do just that. Instead, I will patiently await the Supreme Court’s ruling on the merits of the case. The Supreme Court is the last vestige of fairness in this country (by a narrow margin) and I assume will vindicate Trump when they hear the case. This case was a complete miscarriage of justice and whether or not one admires Trump or despises him, if they are honest, will agree that Trump was railroaded.

I was in limbo whether I should write about this trial verdict and the judge whose bias was decidedly against Trump or the Soros backed prosecutor that went after him. In the end I believe it was necessary to write about it due to my conscience if nothing else. I’ve always disliked bullies and this smacks of Trump being bullied and lied about by Michael Cohen and others. If God thinks I was wrong to write this in this manner, then I’m sorry and ask for forgiveness, but the Bible seems to me to champion the truth and reject lies and I would hope He would approve.

I don’t suspect that I personally have much time left before I die and go to heaven. I don’t want to die, but one thing that I do want more than anything is peace. I don’t think I will ever achieve it here on this planet. I am sad to see our country sliding into a morass of evil. Angry mobs railing against Israel, Trump’s trial, senseless murders and violence, abortion, open borders, Russia, China, North Korea, and Iran with nuclear weapons are all issues tearing this country apart. I look forward to the rapture and the joy of heaven where sin and in particular lies don’t exist.

One person I can think of that endured a sham trial and was sentenced to death was Jesus Christ. He watched as person after person accused Him of all sorts of capitol offenses, all of which were lies. And yet He said nothing to try and get out of it. Instead, He just looked down on them and asked that they be forgiven for they did not know what they were doing. That is pure, undefiled love my friends and I must admit I cannot measure up to it.

Come quickly dear Lord – Come quickly!

Luke 22:63-71
No matter that their trials were a sham. No matter that this man’s rights had been violated. No matter that no witnesses could agree on the charges against Him . . .

Have a great weekend and go to church this Sunday!
