I watched a movie about the Exodus last night. It was far out there. God was depicted as a young boy and the plagues sent by God were explained away as natural occurrences for the most part. Moses was depicted as a troubled person who was torn between his friends in Egypt and his kindred, and he argued with God in their many face-to-face meetings. (The Bible says God hid Moses in a cleft of a rock on the mountain and told Moses not to even look at Him because he would surely die if he looked at the living God).
The plagues sent by God in an effort to get pharaoh to release the Jews out of slavery according to the movie began with crocodiles eating fishermen and making the river bloody. This explained the bloody water. Frogs were next and they left the river because of the bloody water and came on land and died. Their decomposing bodies drew the flies (another plague). Boils were caused by the unsanitary conditions. It went on with logical explanations with the child God meeting with Moses on several occasions which were mostly debates where Moses questioned God. And God in this movie was depicted as cruel and impetuous with a bad temper.
Ugh . . . I was tempted just to switch channels but decided to watch it all the way through just to determine how twisted it would get. It got pretty twisted. I asked my wife how a screenwriter could think up such malarky? She shook her head and looked at me for direction and I told her it was typical satanic behavior. Throughout the Bible Satan is known to mix in parts of the truth about his fabrications to make his lies believable. In this movie most of the plagues were included but explained away with some weird scientific cock and bull story. When their version of God, (the little boy), could not convince Moses to go to pharaoh he just sent the plagues Himself.
The Bible is being attacked constantly as are most things God related. Modern society’s call is:
What is right is wrong,
and what is wrong is right!
People say they want to be free. Well, whether they know it or not, they are free. We ALL have a free will to follow God and obey His commands or go it alone.
Our nation is not following God.
- I read this morning where the Navy is conducting shows depicting drag queens to help fill recruitment shortages for younger recruits. Can you imagine.
- Transvestites comprise about 1% of our population and yet dominate the news.
- The latest polls indicate that 75% of our country’s population condones homosexual behavior.
- Church attendance is declining rapidly.
- Abortion is advocated by 52% of our population.
- Violent criminals are being returned to the streets with no jail time.
- School teachers are being beat up by unruly kids and bombarded with antichrist messaging.
- Hollywood is a pile of degenerates getting drunk and drugged up marrying multiple times then divorcing and living lives of complete moral collapse.
- The truth is mostly non-existent and all of media has an agenda. Sigh . . .
It is a convergence of evil predicted in the Bible indicating that Christ’s return is eminent. We are living through times of war and rumors of war, cold hearts, disobedient children, amoral society consumed by lust for sex, power, and money. It is a society dominated by evil. Jesus said we can know these signs and know that His return is close even though only God Himself does the precise time He will return.
I say convergence because the argument always is that the world has seen all of this in various societies through the annals of history, but I contend never has so much evil converged upon the world at one time. This is a prime indicator to me that we are truly living in the last days. Satan is more active because he knows his days are surely numbered.
Thank You God for promising to return! Thank You for removing Satan from our midst.
Use your free will wisely while you still have time. Though the Lord may be perceived as being slow in keeping His promises, even being slow does not mean He is never going to fulfill them. One day His patience will run out and then it will be too late. Today is a good day to come to the Lord.
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
