As expected, there was much commentary on yesterday’s post concerning former President Trump. All but two mega-ardent Trump fan respondents agreed with the post, but those two guys read me the riot act. Sorry fellows I call them the way I see them.
They seemed to dwell on the election being stolen. I agree that some votes were stolen, but don’t think there were enough to swing the election. I think most of that activity likely occurred in heavily Democratic precincts that would have voted against Trump anyway, but that is just one man’s opinion. In the end, I think Trump alienated millions of people with his mean-spirited near-constant diatribe about how great he is and dumb everyone else is. He was belligerent and paranoid and I understand that he was responding in kind to all the lies and attacks on him, but it seemed like a schoolyard kid fight approach to many. Whether the election was stolen or not, I believe he should shut up about it, at least for now, and if he does get re-elected take measures then to prevent it from ever happening again.
I hate what is happening to this country. I wish the colleges and schools, the media, government, Wall Street, Hollywood, and yes even many churches that are controlled by satanic antichrist forces would somehow turn from their wicked ways. I am concerned for my grandchildren and dread the day they enter college and pray they will withstand the peer pressure to turn away from God. I pray that good moral leaders will get elected.
With all that being said, I know that God has this. Trump or Desantis, or others cannot straighten out this mess – Only God can do it. God is keenly aware of everything that happens and in fact, knew it would happen eons ago. His mighty power will one day straighten out what is crooked and right all wrongs. Then it will be bliss and until then we must endure.
We had a lovely little guest the other day. She is just 13 and when asked her favorite Bible verse, she didn’t hesitate to offer this one below. It is now one of my favorite verses too.
Revelation 4:21
“He will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself will be with them; he will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. “
Have a great weekend and go to church this Sunday!
