So, my computer is on the blink AGAIN! It is an aggravating thing I tell you. It seems that it does not like to be turned off.  If I leave it running 24/7 it works fine, if I turn it off, it will not connect to the internet and all sorts of strange things happen. I’ve about had it with this computer. Several of my friends told me I just had to get a Mac, so I did. BIG MISTAKE!

Like billions of other people, I’ve become so used to using technology I sometimes wonder how I could get along without it. That is a sad commentary on our position in the world. I long for simpler times, it is in fact one of the factors that prompted me to buy a farm. I want to drive around on a tractor, catch fish out my ponds, train my dogs, hunt, plant a garden, raise some chickens and cows. Yep, Green Acres is the place for me.

I used my cell phone to read about Justice Kavanaugh’s neighbors and the trauma they are enduring from protestors marching around with megaphones and drums and screaming obscenities as they protest the upcoming ruling on Roe vs. Wade. They can’t stand the thought of putting a stop to killing unborn babies. What are these people thinking? Is there one shred of morality and decency hidden deep within their souls?

In today’s news, I also read about murders, wars, teaching 1st graders about transgenderism, and chaos all over the world. People committing suicide, overdosing on drugs, the Speaker of the House’s husband getting a DUI, divorces, broken hearts, depression, despair, discouragement, fear, hatred . . . Does anyone think that we are not living in apostasy?  Is technology the weapon of choice by Satan and his minions? He has so many to choose from that it is mind-boggling. When the Bible refers to him as the “Prince” of this world it nailed it.

He controls schools, governments, Hollywood, many churches, the media. Sex, power, fame, and who can forget the love of money, they are what rules this ungodly world and it is all powered by technology.

It is nauseating.

I wonder if escaping to Costa Rica or living the good life on the farm is what God desires. No, as tempting as it is, I know He wants us to continue the fight until the last dog dies, but to be sure it is a miserable job. If it weren’t for writing WFTD I would opt to get a flip phone and get rid of the rest, but I feel sure that God would not allow it. Not while such a vast field of lost souls are in need of harvest.

Matt. 9:37
Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.
