Yesterday we took my grandkids to the aquarium. It was fascinating to see God’s creatures, each with their unique characteristics and colorations. It was crowded to capacity, and it was also very interesting to observe the collection of people walking around, each with their unique characteristics and colorations.
Atlanta is somewhat a melting pot of nationalities and a cross-section was present at the aquarium yesterday. I was thinking of all those people being unique with their own set of fingerprints and DNA and each person’s hair is numbered by God. God created us all to be special and unique right down to our fingerprints and the hairs on our heads. Why would He do so?
I believe He didn’t want identical robotlike creatures in us or His other creations including fish, mammals, plant life, solar systems and so on. It seems weird to me that humankind is the opposite and of the opinion that we should all conform. We should think the same, look the same, dress the same, and anyone who dares to be different should be forced to get on board or risk being ostracized or worse.
It has recently been referred to as being WOKE. They believe we should conform or “else”. Else means one can be “canceled” and find it difficult to secure employment, be ridiculed, be censored in their communications and worst-case physically harmed or even killed. Communist countries and dictatorships abound to the heartache of their people. Here in this country, the former bastion of freedom, we are experiencing the birth and fast pace of acceptance of it spreading like a fire through tinder-dry forests.
It goes against God’s will and plan and the world groans over its perversion.
News flash: What is wrong is wrong and what is right is right regardless of what our culture beams out to the contrary.
All the beautiful people including the political buffoons, Hollywood stars, sports celebrities, media powerhouse players, powerful CEOS and wealthy elites will fade like a fragile flower in the hot sun when God’s timetable for their lives declares it is time for them to end their existence on this planet. Then every knee will bow to God’s agenda.
We have been given a free will by God. No one can take it away not even the most powerful dictator the world can spawn. We can choose to follow the world or follow God. The decision lasts forever and is unaffected by woke culture, mores, trends, or being fashionable.
I am groaning every day and it isn’t just because my old battle-scarred body is shot. I want to see Jesus and I want to see sin and Satan destroyed forever and drink God’s love like a thirsty deer and behold His creation. I estimate that I will not be able to see it all even with a life that never ends. Every nation, every color, every creature will have one thing we all share and that will be our love for Jesus and His love for us. Nice!
Romans 8:21
. . . that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until the present time. Not only that, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies . . .
