I was appalled to learn from friends of mine that they were being persuaded with the recent nonsense that President Trump disparaged our vets. He loves our troops. As usual some reporter quoted anonymous sources who claimed that they heard him say it while people who were actually with him deny it publicly. Including John Bolton who certainly is not a Trump fan who said it was a fabrication and that he was there. Why would anyone choose to believe anonymous sources over eye witnesses?
One thing you can take to the bank is that more lies will be forthcoming as we get closer to the election. I read just this morning where Biden is supposedly tied with Trump in Florida. I’ve been all over the state recently and have been overwhelmed at the number of Trump flags and bumper stickers. Just this weekend my wife and I observed a huge flotilla of boats forming a Trump parade that was attended by thousands. By contrast I haven’t seen even a rowboat for Biden and can count on one hand the number of times I have seen Biden signage anywhere in the state. I live in Democrat country in Jupiter and have friends in West Palm Beach and recently traveled to Tallahassee which is as liberal as it gets in Florida. If anything I have witnessed more support for Trump in these supposed Democrat strongholds than anywhere.
Common sense tells me that people are fed up with liberal radicals.
Alas most polls are lies too. In fact it has gotten to the point whereby we cannot believe much of anything we read on the internet or see on news channels. My friends have the Fox news channel turned on in their living room constantly and remain incensed by what they see throughout each and every hour of the day. Even though the overwhelming majority is just lies, they repeat is as though it is the Gospel. I believe this is the exception. Most people have just tuned out in disgust.
I urge you to use something that is in short supply in this country, common sense. Do you think the average American wants lawlessness to abound in this country? A borderless country? Increased taxes? To have their guns taken away? To be told we cannot go to church? To pay for killing unborn children with their hard earned tax dollars? To see the history of our country totally obliterated?
Common sense tells us that people don’t want a country like that.
Some say, “Oh but most people don’t see this happening.” Really? If we can see it why can’t they?
The press and the radical left misjudged the ordinary person’s value system in this country when they predicted Hillary would win. They are misjudging it again and I predict Trump will win even with the Democrats trying to steal the election with voter fraud. Common sense tells me that Donald Trump is smart enough to realize what is going on and that he will find ways to prevent the election from being stolen.
And then there is God. Common sense tells me that he wants what most Americans want, a country that loves God, family, and freedom. I trust in Him to deliver us. I pray to Him for justice and worship Him as my Savior. God desires only the best for us – Believe it!
