Having just written a post yesterday about the idiocy of the term “Mother Earth,” I was not at all surprised this morning to read the following quote from Nancy Pelosi, (The mother of all idiots):
“Mother Earth is angry,” the San Francisco Democrat said during an appearance Thursday on MSNBC. “She’s telling us – whether she’s telling us with hurricanes on the Gulf Coast, fires in the West, whatever it is . . . that the climate crisis is real and has an impact.”
An image displayed on the screen showed the Transamerica Pyramid skyscraper in San Francisco, set amid the eerie orange sky in the Bay Area. How appropriate that a pyramid image was captured as this entire scenario reminds me so much of Pharaoh’s refusal to acknowledge the power of God.
Make no mistake, it’s not just wildfires, hurricanes, and tornadoes that are ravaging our beloved country it’s the Covid19 plague, riots, looting in the streets, economic ruin that are also occurring. I don’t suppose they will also try to blame those calamities on “Mother Earth” and/or climate change, but with our media one can never tell these days. Without question they will try and blame it all on President Trump and/or coincidence.
I believe that these are a series of wakeup calls from God and not so subtle warnings that things will continue to deteriorate and will not improve unless and until our nation repents and returns to God.
Pelosi said that “Mother Earth is angry.” Earth is not angry; it is a non-thinking inanimate entity. She seems to think earth is a thinking god capable of displaying anger.
Make no mistake it is our living God who is angry at a nation that has turned from Him. Any Bible student can give you countless examples where this has happened in the past and God was swift to make His presence known. Read the book of Judges or Kings to get a feel for it.
End Times expert Dr. Steve Greene said: “The prophetic voices warned us that we were headed into a time of trouble, and they warned about pandemics and economic collapse. They warned us about natural disasters; they warned us about civil unrest and all of these other things. And now, kind of in the time frame that people have been anticipating all these things, they are starting to happen. God is trying to wake up a nation. He says, ‘Wake up, wake up, turn back to Me.’ The purposes of all of this is warnings, and then the warnings are over, and the judgment comes, because God is trying to call people back to Himself. That’s what He’s been trying to do all along, to call wayward nations to come to Him and follow Him.”
We are rapidly approaching the most important election ever. The choice has never been clearer for followers of Christ. It isn’t about personalities or human weakness as much as it is about a nation choosing to refute systematic assaults on our Christian belief system perpetuated by the Democrats. Donald Trump is the only choice we have. Vote for the man! He has done more for Christians than any other President – Ever!
Aside from that we must pray, witness, and share the Gospel.

As he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, his disciples came to him privately.
‘Tell us,’ they said, ‘when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that you are going to appear as king, and that the end of the age is upon us?’
‘Watch out,’ replied Jesus. ‘Don’t let anyone deceive you. You see, there will be several who will come along, using my name, telling you “I’m the Messiah!” They will fool lots of people. You’re going to hear about wars, actual wars and rumored ones; make sure you don’t get alarmed. This has got to happen, but it doesn’t mean the end is coming yet. Nations will rise against one another, and kingdoms against each other. There will be famines and earthquakes here and there. All this is just the start of the birth pangs.
‘Then they will hand you over to be tortured, and they will kill you. You will be hated by all nations because of my name. Then several will find the going too hard, and they will betray each other and hate each other. Many false prophets will arise, and they will deceive plenty of people. And because lawlessness will be on the increase, many will find their love growing cold. But the one who lasts out to the end will be delivered. And this gospel of the kingdom must be announced to the whole world, as a witness to all the nations. Then the end will come.’
