Things are really heating up around the world. Hong Kong protestors on the rampage, the same in Chile, Venezuela, Columbia, Ecuador, Iran and so on. Russia is working on the world’s most devastating weapon as is China. Iran is threatening to take Israel off the map again and of course who can forget North Korea’s dictator who is still running his mouth. The world is getting more and more evil every day and Christians are the number one people group being persecuted worldwide today. Anti-God sentiment (and all He stands for) is at an all time high. People are uncivil and full of hate and the meaning of love has been twisted beyond recognition in many places.
Interestingly as the beating of war drums reaches an all-time high and evil is filling our streets like poop in San Francisco, God tells us to relax for these things must happen. Today’s global degradation was precited in the Bible as to what will happen prior to the destruction that is coming. I just finished reading the New Testament and Revelation and read of God’s fierce judgment and the warnings that preceded it. Then I started reading the Bible through again beginning in Genesis and read of Noah and the warnings that continued in those days before destruction and today I read of Sodom and Gomorrah. No one was listening then; in fact, they were making fun of those who did such as Lot’s sons in law.
God is not mocked, and we shall reap what we sow. We are told not to become politically correct or if you will “woke.” If it means abandoning moral laws set down by God Himself, we must follow Jesus and not the world, even if it means standing alone.
Do you know anyone who is lost? Of course you do. It might be a family member, friend, or an acquaintance. I hope you feel the urgency that I do to try and reach out to them to share the Gospel. No one knows the exact time of Christ’s return, but rest assured it’s getting close. The church will be raptured out of here, and the Holy Spirit will leave the world as well. Evil will be all that remains and in those days it will become nearly impossible to follow Christ. The cost of not worshipping the antichrist will cost you your very life.
It does not have to be that way, and Christ has provided a way to peace and joy, not wanting anyone to perish. There is no compromise when it comes to following Jesus as your Savior. There is only one fire exit and He is it and we must go through Him if we want to live.
2 Timothy 3:1
But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.
