Many Christians questioned why “a man like Donald Trump” got elected especially when the faith-based community is largely credited for electing him. They’ve howled with indignation and criticized his profane immoral lifestyle and his narcistic arrogance and bullying as being anything but Christian. I was personally lambasted by some in this crowd for endorsing him from day one.
Interestingly God who looks beyond someone’s weaknesses saw another side to this coin. He saw a need for a street brawler, someone who was tougher than nails that would not wilt like a flower or cave in to some big special interest donor.
Some are so naïve that they thought that the leftist regime would just slink away to the darkness with their tails tucked because they lost the election.
Boink!
Not at all. The election simply was the catalyst that infuriated them. They began a ferocious ruthless campaign to bring Trump down that continues through today. And make no mistake nothing is sacred. No lie is too far-fetched – Lying is simply a useful tool, as is character assassination, media manipulation and on and on.
And yet Trump appears totally unfazed and if anything, seems to relish the battle. Just imagine how a gentle goody two shoes Christian leader would react to the life Trump leads. Constant attacks from every quarter, personal criticism, deep state conspiracies, fake news, endless lawsuits, death threats, and profanity laced tirades on his and his family’s character.
Leftists are nastier than rabid junkyard dogs and there are no rules when they go after someone. Their attacks are so withering that they are even feared by their own kind. Consider Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey. On Sunday as he publicly apologized for eating at Chick-fil-A.
Why?
Because of the Chick-fil-A CEO’s personal biblical views on marriage. He believes the Bible when it states that marriage should be between one man and one woman. Dorsey tweeted a screenshot from his phone that showed a tasty purchase he’d made at Chick-fil-A using a mobile application. After all hell broke loose with a liberal backlash led by LGBTQ activists Dorsey quickly apologized for committing the grievous sin of eating at the mega-popular fast food restaurant.
Trump would have licked his fingers and tweeted that Chic-fil-A was the tastiest chicken on the planet and if someone didn’t like it then too bad. Every moral person in the United States and for that matter the planet is aware of the decline in morality in the U.S., they saw the tepid Obama economy, out-of-control illegal immigration, diplomatic failures abroad, high taxes, deep cuts to defense, liberal judges making insane rulings, etc. and they asked why someone didn’t do something about it. Prayer groups prayed 24/7 for a leader with guts enough to take on the swamp.
God answered with Trump.
The people cried foul. This guy is not my idea of what we need for leadership in this country.
Bah! I believe God is answering that Trump is exactly who we need to lead this country through these difficult times in our history. I thank Him and praise His name for the miracle election of Trump.
He was and is the perfect choice. Who else could withstand the withering onslaught? Not to mention that he has accomplished more for this country in such a short time that even Satan’s main guy, America hating billionaire George Soros, is complaining: ‘everything that could go wrong, has gone wrong.’ Soros made the comment in an interview with The Washington Post published Saturday. He also said that he did not expect Trump’s election, saying, “Apparently, I was living in my own bubble.”
That is the greatest affirmation to date of Trump being the right man for this nasty job. God granted the United States an opportunity to turn around and head in the right direction. It is a raging war and reminiscent of urban warfare taking back street by street, but Trump is leading the charge and does not flinch.
I just hope that you can see it and appreciate it and whatever you do support him in the midterm elections by voting to keep his majority in both the senate and the house and in 2020 when he runs for re-election. Also, I would ask that you do as I do and pray for this man daily.
Today there was a story about a pit bulldog who rescued a family when their home was on fire. The courageous dog ran into the burning house and grabbed an infant by the diaper and dragged him to safety. Pit bulls are among the most vicious of dogs and will fight to the death. Though generally feared and disliked by the masses, this brave dog saved the entire family and the child will live because it was dragged out of the burning home by the diapers. Let’s hope that pit bull Donald Trump will drag this country out of the fire by our dirty diapers . . .
