STOP!

Would you please think about this next paragraph for just five minutes? There are 1440 minutes in a day – All I ask of you is a tiny investment of 5 minutes of thought. That will leave you with 1435, which will be plenty to do all the other things you have planned for today. And if not, you will get another 1440 tomorrow.

Imagine for a moment that your son or daughter, or one of your grandchildren is at this very moment wearing a dog collar chained to a wall crying out for you after spending a long night of being repeatedly raped by brutal men. Today there will be more of the same and the next day and the next. Envision them being five or six years old and being raped by a smelly 45 year old man.

Can you really personalize it?

I was on a prayer call for the Jesus Alliance last Thursday and earlier in the week one of the prophetically gifted participants had seen a vision of a little girl crying, “Mommy – Mommy where are you?” This man could hardly choke out the words as he tearfully agonized over what he’d seen.

Most people that I encounter cannot seem to personalize this evil that is overtaking the United States. It’s the worst sin on the face of the planet and growing worse by the day. Literally children 1-17 are being snatched off playgrounds, malls, grocery stores, and our neighborhoods and are being trafficked for sex within hours of their kidnapping. Go to the Missing and Exploited Children website and look at the photos of all those children. It will break your heart.

I awoke this morning wondering why people are not outraged, sickened, devastated, enraged????

Has the entire world grown so cold from the 24/7 coverage of every bad thing that happens anywhere in the world that the worst evil on the planet, forsaking our helpless innocent children, is hardly noticed? Trump is all they want to talk about in the news.

Are people too busy with their lives to care about anything outside of their personal universe?

I was totally frustrated and dismayed to read this morning that 75 million people visit one pornography website daily, (Porn Hub). The most time spent in their search criteria is on sex with the young. All researchers agree that the overwhelming majority of those who buy sex with children do so after spending time watching pornography.

What if 75 million people came to the Jesus Alliance website daily and looked for ways to help stop this insanity?

I prayed to God and asked Him.

No response.

He knows everything so why won’t He tell me how to wake up the silent church and mobilize them to demand an end to the worst evil on this planet today?

Is it because people don’t know what to do?

Let me tell you how you can help.

  • We can pray daily that God will intervene
  • We can like and share stories of anti-sex trafficking, human slavery, and child rape on social media
  • We can write letters to leaders in Congress, state legislative leaders, attorney generals, law enforcement agencies and demand more action be taken
  • We can educate ourselves and others
  • We can donate money to organizations like the Jesus Alliance that are daily trying our utmost to stop it

Or we can sit back and let Satan ravage our kids and grandkids until the wrath of God is stirred against US for ignoring our solemn duty to protect our children.

“There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way in which it treats its children.” — Nelson Mandela, Former President of South Africa

“It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.” — Frederick Douglass, abolitionist and statesman

“Children are the hands by which we take hold of heaven.” — Henry Ward Beecher, reverend and social activist

“Children are the living messages we send to a time we will not see.” — John F. Kennedy, 35th President of the United States

“Safety and security don’t just happen, they are the result of collective consensus and public investment. We owe our children, the most vulnerable citizens in our society, a life free of violence and fear.” — Nelson Mandela, Former President of South Africa

Hey, just as I was feeling discouraged and dismayed the Lord answered me. Read below. I just need to pray harder and keep working while I’m praying. He is with us in this fight against the worst depravity ever sprung on mankind by Satan. Join us today . . .

Isaiah 41:10

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
