We have all seen Kathy Griffin tearfully crying about her career going down the tube because she chose to depict herself holding a facsimile of a decapitated head of President Trump. She is also well known for her advocacy work on behalf of the LGBT community. It earned her a Vanguard Award at the 2009 GLAAD Media Awards and two years later, The Trevor Project bestowed Griffin as a Lifetime Honoree. Too she was one of the grand marshals of the Las Vegas Gay Pride Parade in 2012. As Griffin boasted in a newspaper interview that same year, “Honey, every day of my life is Gay Pride.”
On September 16, 2007, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences awarded an Emmy for “Outstanding Reality Program” to My Life on the D-List, a show detailing the travails of Kathy Griffin, a stand-up comedienne and television bit player. As Executive Producer and star of the series, Kathy Griffin accepted the Emmy won by the show. Her remarks upon receiving the award were: “Now, look, a lot of people come up here and they thank Jesus for this award. I want you to know that no one had less to do with this award than Jesus. He didn’t help me a bit. If it was up to him, Cesar Millan would be up here with that damn dog. So all I can say is suck it Jesus, this award is my God now”

She cursed the name of Jesus and rejected the Holy Spirit which would appear to me as being the unpardonable sin of blasphemy. Before you get too worked up and accuse me of being judgmental and/or condemning, think about this for a moment.
I used to say: “Who can know the mind of Jesus Christ? Certainly not me.”
Would you agree or disagree with that thought?
Read this passage before deciding.
1 Cor. 2:11 – For who among men knows the thoughts of man except his own spirit within him? So too, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. And this is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom, but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. The natural man does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God. For they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual man judges all things, but he himself is not subject to anyone’s judgment. For who has known the mind of the Lord, so as to instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
Wow! Read that passage slowly. No one can really know what another man is thinking or what he is like except that person himself. And no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit. And God has given us His Spirit. So we may use the Holy Spirit’s words to explain the Holy Spirit’s facts. But the man who isn’t a Christian cannot understand him at all. How could he? For he has never known the thoughts of God or lifted his hands in prayer.
Hmmm . . . Paul states that as strange as it seems, we Christians actually do have within us a portion of the very thoughts and mind of Christ. I was wrong all those years as the Bible states that we as Christians can presume to know the mind of Christ in certain aspects.
I would never go so far as to state that Kathy Griffin is unredeemable which is the penalty for blasphemy, but I would say that what she said on national television was a grievous sin as is her promotion of the gay lifestyle, and other immoral things to numerous and salacious to detail. Perhaps this latest display of her wretchedness and depravity will result in consequences so severe that she will repent of those words and turn to Christ. She would benefit enormously if she were to do so. Unfortunately, she would appear to think that such things as repentance are foolishness as exemplified by her actions.
The Holy Spirit directs me to pray for her that she will find her way to Jesus for I know with certainty that she is on her way to hell without Jesus Christ and her meaningless Emmy god idol is useless in saving her from that calamity. Only Jesus Christ whom she cursed can save her, (or any of us for that matter.)
