Is anyone watching the news these days? I force myself to do so in an effort to monitor the propaganda. If you trust the media you are in the minority because the latest Gallup poll I could find stated that just 32% of Americans believe the garbage that the media puts out. Contrast that with 1976 when it was 72%. Almost a complete reversal. Frankly I’m surprised that 32% believe the media; much of it is made up or badly distorted to achieve political and personal bias.
So, what has happened? The left wing liberal global elitists have taken over most every form of communication including newspapers, television, and social media. Additionally, they currently dominate the entertainment industry, academia, and until recently the government. It is the classic socialist/communist strategy right out of Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals.
Hitler did it, Stalin, Mao and Lenin too. The North Koreans do it, as does Iran, Communist China, Russia, Cuba, and other dictatorships. They know the value of propaganda. Vladimir Lenin said if you tell someone that snow is black long enough they will believe it.
I’m most concerned about our younger citizens. Their warped worldview is derived straight out of hell. Look at television, textbooks, social media, music, and you see the footprints of evil walking through society destroying everything good by portraying it as bad. You will see our nation’s youth blindly following those footsteps that will lead them right into hell unless we can help them.
Look at the Super Bowl as an example of reporting. The big story should have been the biggest choke in NFL history by the Atlanta Falcons, or even the valiant effort to refuse to quit even when facing the largest deficit in Super Bowl history by the New England Patriots, as they fought their way back to victory.
What was the major story in the media? Tom Brady getting back at NFL commissioner Roger Goodell for suspending him for four games for cheating in last year’s playoff games. The press was excoriating the football commissioner for punishing wrongdoing without mentioning even one time that the evidence that Brady deflated footballs to gain advantage was overwhelming and he deserved what he got. But, no, they were fine with cheating.
We see it day after day. The worst is the fake news. This is a nice way of saying the press is lying through their nasty teeth. A pack of lies goes viral all over the world and then a few days later is debunked and no one ever hears of it as it gets buried.
Even the liberal 9th District of the Supreme Court lied in a recorded court session stating that no one from any of the 7 countries in the immigration ban ever committed acts of terrorism. In reality, 72 terrorists from those countries did so.
President Trump has taken to Twitter in an effort to try to get the truth out as he sees it. He is chastised to no end for so doing, but I don’t know what other choice he might have at the moment. When news is not news but is pure propaganda designed to influence the “useful idiots” as the communists refer to them, to hate him, then there isn’t much choice. I just wish he would put more thought into it sometimes.
Sigh . . . We are in a mess. It did not happen overnight and it will not be resolved overnight. It is a battle of good versus evil. Those who want to call right wrong and declare wrong to be right unfortunately hold the upper hand. Television series like Lucifer portraying Satan as a good guy will be with us for some time unless we rise up and do something about it.
Pray about it and get involved. The Bible tells us to stay away from such people. I would interpret that to mean don’t buy from them. When the entire world seems to be ruled by money and not conviction, it would seem that we would recognize the leverage that we have.
Target learned an economic lesson when their stock prices tumbled due to opening their dressing rooms to potential sexual deviants in an effort to appease the LGBTQI movement. 1 ½ million signed a petition to boycott them and it taught them a valuable lesson. What if we also boycotted the sponsors of the TV show Lucifer, and other television programs that finance anti-God sentiment, or perhaps the NFL, NBA, Grammys, movies, Starbucks, Universities, and so on. The number of Christians in America is somewhere between 80-200 million depending upon who you believe. What if they united and said ENOUGH! We are large in number, we spend money and we vote. Do you think anyone would listen?
Oh yeah . . . So, let’s unite and do it. Ugh . . . most will just say maybe later . . . Later is too late. Time is running out for your kids and grandkids.

But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.
