One thing I’ve learned in writing Words for the Day five days per week for going on 18 years now is that there will be those who disagree with me. That doesn’t bother me in the slightest; however generally their arguments are so weak that they must resort to calling me names, or in some cases threaten me and that makes me mad.

So yesterday I was not surprised when a lawyer from California wrote to take umbrage against what I said about Hillary Clinton breaking the law and getting away with it. He made several nonsensical opinions about this case that were identical to those talking points coming out of Hillary’s spin room which basically boiled down to everyone else is doing it so why prosecute Hillary.

I guess I’m not as sophisticated as this gentleman, but it seems to me that she initially broke the law by using an unsecured server in her basement to house the most secret information that the United States produces, this after signing a document stating that she would not do that. Then she lied about it repeatedly, and there are ample video tapes that document each lie just like they document her lies about the Benghazi attack being about a video tape instead of a planned terrorist attack to commemorate 9/11.

It is a way of life for the Clintons to lie. Her husband Bill, (you remember old “Slick Willy” the President who was impeached for lying). He stated that he “never had sex with that woman” and “it all depends upon what the definition of “is – is”. Now he is stating that he “just happened” to run into the Attorney General, (who had the responsibility to recommend prosecution or not to his wife), when he “just happened” to be in the area on that particular day at that particular time, and “just happened” to board her private jet for a private meeting where they “just happened” to talk about golf and grandchildren and didn’t mention the upcoming recommendation.

Yeah right – Su-u-u-u-u-u-re – Uh huh – Duhhh

And I suppose that the hundreds of millions of dollars that were given by foreign governments to this couple as individuals and through their foundation while she was Secretary of State and making policy that affected their countries “just happened” to be awarded because they were so-o-o fond of the Clintons. To think otherwise would make one a right wing, biased, Republican.

Yeah right – Su-u-u-u-u-u-re – Uh huh – Duhhh

I don’t like being called names, especially when they are not true. I’m not a right wing Republican, I’m an independent voter, although I frequently vote Republican as the lesser of two evils and register as one in order to vote in their primaries. The Democrat agenda is wicked and their support of repugnant antichrist issues such as their constant attacks on religious liberty, abortion and the destruction of the institution of marriage makes me wonder how anyone who has read the Bible and calls themselves a Christian could support such an agenda. Killing unborn children by the millions? Geez…

This guy took a parting shot at me that read like this: “Finally, it’s not the wicked is getting richer that worries most people. It’s the fact that the rich is getting richer while the poor is getting poorer. But of course Bob, being a right wing republican, will never have any negative words for the Day concerning income inequality, guns, or Trump. Guess we all will just have to grin and bear with such continued bias before the election.”

Well Mr. Lawyer the rich and the poor have been around since the dawn of civilization. If you wish for everyone to have the same income, then move to a communist country and live the utopian dream. As for me I’m proud to live in a country where someone like me who has been homeless and with little education could work exceedingly hard in life, sacrificing everything to get ahead and end up making a decent living. I didn’t start at the top and my first job was the lowest paying job in a paint factory with 400 workers in it. It wasn’t the owner of the paint factory’s fault that I earned low wages. It was my fault and I was thankful for an opportunity to even get a job. It took hard work and sacrifice to succeed Mr. Lawyer and as for me I’m sick and tired of hearing from those who sit on their butts collecting welfare and drinking beer bought with food stamps griping about this country. Their motto seems to be “Be all you can be – As long as it’s free!”

Further I definitely believe in the second amendment and will fight with every ounce of strength that I have to keep the right to keep and bear arms against those who would defy the law and make up their own regulations like Hillary Clinton and Obama. Someone has to protect the populace of this country and I don’t want a squirt gun when some thug or terrorist points an AK 47 at me.

And finally as for Trump, I’m disgusted with both parties and will vote for Trump in the hopes that he will win and change the status quo for those career politicians whose only goal is to further enrich themselves and get drunk on their power.

I take umbrage with your statement Mr. Lawyer. You do not have to grin and bear my right wing bias as you call it. Simply refuse to read my column and your liberal brain can take a rest. I’m going to continue to speak out against corrupt politicians who lie with impunity. The system is rigged and the fix is in unless some folks will wake up and get off their butts and vote the bums out of office once and for all.

And with that I bid you adieu and I sincerely hope that everyone has a great weekend and that you will go to Honey Lake Church (or somewhere) this Sunday.

Proverbs 12:22

Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, But those who deal faithfully are His delight.
