2016

Since late 2008 one person more than anyone has been instrumental in helping me with getting out Words for the Day five days a week without fail. Behind the scenes it is not an easy process. I’m all over the country and indeed the world at times, and in spite of time differences, poor Internet service, and scores of other problems, we still get it out. Many times due to his persistence and his son’s brilliant technical mind they have saved the day.

Not only has this father son team helped me with WFTD, but with all of the marketing needs for our church, the Jesus Alliance, my book, my various websites, social media, ministry events, business cards, marketing collateral, Honey Lake, and a million other things.

My friend’s name is Al Cuneo, his son’s name is George and their awesome firm is Cuneo Creative located in Tallahassee. Unfortunately today he’s in a hospital suffering from a bad case of pneumonia. I’m in San Diego and I can’t go see him, or I would be visiting him today and bugging him. As the Bible states all things work out for the good and this is no different, because he is supposed to be getting complete rest and he wouldn’t get rest if I was down there bothering him and insulting him with my perverse sense of humor.

One thing I can do for him is pray and this morning I have gone to my knees before almighty God asking for a speedy and complete healing and recovery. I ask all of you to do likewise. Take a moment right now and pray for this good hearted man who serves God in his own special way. Pray for all of the Al Cuneos out there that quietly work behind the scenes rarely getting any credit for their service, but being vitally important in furthering the Lord’s work.

The Bible states that the church is the body of Christ and there are many parts. Every part is important and needs to function. The Cuneos have stepped up to the plate and they deliver. Not for fame or fortune, but to serve God in the best way they know how. Why not think about how you can contribute to God’s Kingdom today and then DO IT!

Have a great weekend and go to Honey Lake Church (or somewhere) this Sunday.

1 Cor. 12:25

“ . . . so that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.”
