Why do you suppose the United States is the best country in the world in which to live? Why do immigrants risk their lives riding rafts across oceans, and walking through miles of hot burning desert trying to get out of their country and into ours? America has been truly blessed with opportunity galore. It is a land where someone like me can start out in life penniless and uneducated, but willing to work hard and end up a person of means. Why is America the golden land of opportunity instead of Mexico, Africa, Haiti, Cuba, South/central America, Russia, Europe, or other countries?
The answer can be found on our currency where it states, “In God we trust”. America has been blessed because she was founded by Christians and albeit separation of church and state is a tenet, we became a nation guided by Biblical principles early on and God blessed this land mightily. America always takes the side of right and fights wrong even to the death. Those Godless rulers who ruthlessly oppress their citizens are our sworn enemies. Many religious nations whose mantra is violent and anti-Christ in nature are sworn enemies of the United States and even when their brain-washed people hate Americans we defend them with our young men and women’s very lives. God blesses our efforts.
I believe that America is in real danger of losing those blessings if God is ignored. Perhaps the biggest threats to America today are the ACLU and the liberal press combined with a nonchalant attitude of the silent majority. The anti-Christ agenda including abortion, pornography, you name it, is promoted and too often too few join the fight against it. God’s blessings are a gift and not an entitlement. The same holds true in our personal life. We should be humble and grateful not arrogant and proud of our great land and personal blessings. What God has given God can take away. Hopefully God fearing Americans can continue to fight the forces of evil that surround us and God will continue to bless us as no other nation is blessed.
