What do you suppose is the biggest threat to our nation? Many would say ISIS and all of the other Muslim jihadists that want to destroy our society; others might point to our debt that is so large that it cannot be paid off; a few might cite cyber warfare; some might even say it is the bubble in the stock market, and then there are those who would say Iran getting a nuke.
I don’t think it’s any of those; I think it’s God’s judgment in relation to abortion. God destroyed the Amorites and the worshippers of Baal for sacrificing their children to the idol Moloch, but it only amounted to a few thousand babies. Compare that to our sins which many estimate have taken the lives of 63 million babies and you get the picture.
What do you suppose God thinks about those 63 million babies who are in heaven demanding to be avenged like the martyrs sitting below the throne of God? Rev. 6:10 (They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?”)
A lady saw me reading my Bible on a plane not long ago and sarcastically asked if I was one of those radical “pro-lifers”. I answered yes, I suppose I am. Are you one of those radical “pro-deathers”? She coolly answered that she was “pro-choice”.
I replied, “Hmmm . . . Interesting – So you are the one that makes the choice of whether or not a baby gets to live or die? I thought that was God’s job.”
Oh boy . . . No more Ms. Cool – She got hot then . . .
I told her, “You know I really don’t care what liberals like you think of me. I know that God loves those babies, and if you were honest so do you. For me to stand by and not say anything about killing sweet little babies is wrong”.
It’s really not that difficult to convince someone that life is a better option than death. You ought to try it at your next opportunity.
I’ve met many a woman who years later after becoming a believer deeply regretted having an abortion. Did you know that many of the fathers of those aborted babies feel likewise? This is a link to a video of several men that demonstrate this point. You can see the remorse and agony in their faces as they recount the sadness of dealing with their sin and they lament what could have been and how their child might look today. http://sanctityoflife2015.com/
I urge you not only to watch it, but to encourage your pastor to play it in church this Sunday. Download it and send it to everyone you know. So far, over 700 pastors have downloaded it, presumably to show this coming Sunday which is Sanctity of Life Sunday.
Listen folks we need to start taking a stand for what is right and wrong in this country or God is going to judge and destroy us. We can begin to change the world one person at a time, and if enough of us will repent, God will heal our land. Join me on this won’t you? Make a vow to show it to as many people as you can.
By the way those of you who have committed this sin and have repented can be greatly comforted to know that those babies are safe and sound in heaven at this very moment with Jesus. Don’t worry your sins will have been forgiven you and you will be able to see your child again under entirely different circumstances, and oh what a day of rejoicing that will be. But for now it is anything but rejoicing which is one of the dire consequences of being lured into the abortion trap.
Day after day a fearfully and wonderfully made child suffers a terrible death usually in the name of convenience and those who make that careless decision suffer for the rest of their lives wondering what might have been.
Psalm 139:13
For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.
