I don’t know where you are planning on being Jan. 31, but I hope you will join us at one of America’s finest prisons, Gadsden Correctional Institution, just outside of Tallahassee, to minister to some 1500 women there. We will train you to lead lost souls to Christ and you will no doubt get lots of opportunities to do so.

I will be giving my testimony as will others including Jack“(Murf the Surf”) Murphy, former water ski world champion Kristi Overton Johnson, and others. There will be a concert that night put on by some of the finest musicians in the southeast and plenty of good food.

I delayed my surgery one week in order to attend and Jack Murphy did not attend his annual “Legends Surf Contest” in Puerto Rico because the Holy Spirit is telling us that this event is IMPORTANT! The angels will be rejoicing and singing in heaven before this night is over and you can be right there with us.

I spoke with a lady who was visiting our church Sunday that just got out of Gadsden CI and she said she would give anything to be able to go back and attend this event and bring the hope of Jesus Christ to these ladies, many of whom are all but devoid of it. Unfortunately she has not been out long enough to be a part of a ministry effort yet, but I told her she could still participate by praying for those of us who do go. I specifically asked that she pray that we might find the right words to share and that the Holy Spirit would move through that prison like He did on the Day of Pentecost.

So why do all of us want to go to this prison so badly. I look at it as an opportunity of a lifetime. Nowhere will you find so many lost people so anxious to find Jesus. Right after the first of the year I challenged you to a goal of witnessing to at least one person about Christ per week in 2015. Many will witness to 20 or even 30 or more in just ONE DAY at an event like this. That could be you!

To obtain more details contact any of the following people and they will be happy to sign you up.:

Jessica Santiago (Tampa Area) jessica@passionforprison.com (813) 786-8303

Henree Martin (Tallahassee) hmartin@nettally.com (850)544-5344

Jack Murphy (Crystal River) jrm526@yahoo.com (352) 804-7812

I urge you to pray about this and listen to the Holy Spirit’s direction. If you’ve never been to one of these, please don’t worry about it. My wife will be there along with many from our church and churches all over the state. It might be noted that she and the women from our church only experience one problem, albeit it is a big one. They cry constantly and cannot keep their eyes dry as they attempt to hug every lady in there and offer them comfort. They so desperately need encouragement and are so appreciative of our visit that it will touch your heart.

Jesus said when we visit someone in prison we are doing it for Him. I ask you to pray about this and listen to the Holy Spirit’s direction. He will be watching and He will not be alone . . .

Hebrews 12:1

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us . . .
