Vicious Muslim jihadist terror group Boko Harum killed an estimated 4000 (mostly Christian) civilians last year. This is the group that kidnapped 276 Christian girls, of which 214 are still missing.
To get the year started with a “bang” they attacked again this past weekend and this time murdered an estimated 2000 innocent civilians and destroyed 3700 homes.
So where are the 43 world leaders joining arms in solidarity vowing to put an end to it? Has France or any other country dispatched an aircraft carrier to this region?
Don’t hold your breath. Hardly a word has been mentioned about the brutal rape, torture, and slaughter of thousands of Christians, which de facto tells the Muslims it’s okay to kill Christians, but don’t mess with 12 atheist cartoonists who satirize Mohammed, the Pope, Jews, Jesus, and others with filthy sacrilegious cartoons.
Don’t get me wrong I recognize the need to protect free speech and I applaud the leadership of France for their decisive action and determination to rid itself of these fanatical terrorists; however the blasé, dispassionate global attitude towards the slaughter of innocent Christians is appalling.
In the book of Revelation we are given an interesting look at those who have been martyred and currently reside in heaven: “And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus . . . ” – “And they cried out with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” And there was given to each of them a white robe; and they were told that they should rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren who were to be killed even as they had been, would be completed also.
There will be more beheadings, more rapes, more beatings, torture, and people being put in prison because of their religious belief system. Don’t be surprised when Christian persecution escalates in earnest right here in the United States. It will begin with jailing those who read or preach what the Bible states in regard to God’s declaration that homosexuality is a sin to their congregations. Once it begins there will be no limits.
This is all very perplexing but we can take solace in knowing that one day God will make right what is wrong. So do you suppose God will limit His judgment to those who perpetuate these crimes, or will it include those who stand by and watch without saying/doing anything about it?
Hmmm . . . I believe culpability will be more far reaching and will include those who could have done something but didn’t.
What can we do? We can pray and we can contact our representatives in government and demand that Christians be protected. If they won’t listen then we can vote and work hard to elect others who will listen and act.
Many reading this naively think that this could never happen over here. It wasn’t that long ago that the German people were in this exact same position. They sat by and did nothing as did the entire world as millions of Jews, Christians, Gypsies, people with physical handicaps, and other “undesirables” were exterminated by Hitler in Nazi Germany.
Dietrich Bonhoeffer and a very few other brave Christian souls had the courage to speak out. Dietrich has his white martyr robe on at this very moment and he now sits with the other martyrs awaiting his blood being avenged. His time was eerily similar to what is happening today. Sadly we must acknowledge that yes history does repeat itself. Speak out before it’s too late . . .
Due.32:43
“Rejoice with him, you heavens, and let all of God’s angels worship him. Rejoice with his people, you nations, and let all the angels be strengthened in him. For he will avenge the blood of his servants; he will take revenge against his enemies. He will repay those who hate him and cleanse the land for his people.”
