Albert Einstein once said. “The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don’t do anything about it.” He is also credited with saying, “The real problem is in the hearts and minds of men. It is easier to denature plutonium than to denature the evil spirit of man”.

Hmmm Martin Luther King stated, “When evil men plot, good men must plan. When evil men burn and bomb, good men must build and bind. When evil men shout ugly words of hatred, good men must commit themselves to the glories of love”.

Einstein was a genius and I am a dummy, but Einstein’s identification of the “real problem” as being “IN the hearts and minds of men” could probably have been better addressed from the perspective of what is NOT in the hearts and minds of evil men. That would be God.

The Bible teaches that God is love. Ahhhh… God is love and His presence in our hearts and minds is the solution, (just as MLK dreamed).

Einstein had a bad day with this issue. I am no nuclear scientist but denaturing plutonium sounds difficult, and I know from personal experience that accepting Christ as one’s Savior is easy. Look at the pure love of God as described below and see what is in store for us throughout eternity.

Come quickly Lord

1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
