If you have not taken a look at the website for the book I am writing, just click on the link below and check it out. I have been making slow but steady progress on it and anticipate being through with the “dark ages” period of my life within the next few days. After that it will be like a cool breeze on a hot muggy day to work on it and I absolutely cannot wait to enter the “renaissance” period of my life whereby I became a Christian.

It has been very depressing to recount the violence, drugs, alcohol, and black sin in my life. I have literally had to force myself to sit down to the keyboard and write about it. On the other hand I eagerly anticipate writing of all of the rich blessings and miraculous things God did when He turned my life around.

I wish everyone would write their own memoirs. It has given me a new perspective of satan and of God and of myself. The stark contrast between the lifestyle of living for God versus satan is amazing to say the least. I have learned how I got myself into the mess that I got into in my youth through this project, and based upon what I have learned, if I had it all to over again I could easily avoid some serious pain.

Some of you might use my pain to ultimately be your gain provided you read it and learn as I did from the hard lessons that I endured. It will provide some insight as to how to fight satan and win. Make no mistake about it, satan has waged an all out war for my soul, but I can tell you folks, he has lost that war. I am far from perfect and could never have made it on my own and my early life demonstrated that in vivid fashion. Jesus Christ however is perfect and with Him on my side, satan and his minions are like a pee wee football team playing against the Super Bowl champs of the NFL; they do not have a chance.

True enough satan still picks away at me like a sniper and will not concede defeat and no doubt will wage another vicious battle or two against me before I cross over into eternity. He might entice me to sin here and there, but he has already lost the war for my soul. I was bought and paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ and I belong to God now. Jesus will *never* allow anyone or anything to take me away from Him. Thank God that Jesus Christ won the victory in my life. I have His peace and joy and best of all I know that wonderful things are still to come and I eagerly anticipate them and that makes my life even more interesting and fun.

You can also belong to Jesus. Won’t you ask Him into your life today?

Rom 8:38
For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the Love of God, which is in Christ our Lord.
