Make your word your bond

There is nothing worse in my opinion than someone whose word is no good. To put it bluntly I have no use for liars and do not want to be around them! The Bible has much to say about liars and lying. It is an abomination to God and one of the Ten Commandments instructs us not to lie. Some people just cannot tell the truth period. Others twist the truth, but the result is the same. Satan was the original liar according to the Bible and is the Father of all lies and liars. Everyone knows someone who cannot tell the truth. Would you want to be like that? Lying can become a habit. Dont start and you will never have the habit.

Be careful when you speak. If you accidentally tell a lie, immediately set the record straight. Your character cannot be what it needs to be as long as lies are in your life. Either God is your Father, or it is satan…Think about it!
