Paradise

I don’t know about you, but I am looking forward to heaven. Most people think more about clinging on down here and this is understandable. No one in their right mind wants to die, but the Bible describes heaven as a paradise. Of all the places that I have personally visited, Maui is the nicest. The weather is great, the people are nice, the lifestyle is laid back, the Hawaiian music is relaxing, and the scenery is absolutely stunning. They refer to it as paradise, but in comparison to heaven Maui is just a slum. Imagine a place where there is never a tear, no crime, no suffering, no poverty, unimaginable beauty, peace and serenity, and living each day in the presence of our Lord and Savior. Whew!

I always enjoyed looking forward to Christmas, family vacations, and the like. I look forward to occupying my mansion in heaven and it helps me to cope with life on this earth which at times can be nasty and mean. Lift up your eyes to heaven and think about eternity today. Hopefully this will put a smile on your face and a bounce to your step.
