Are you a patient person? The Bible tells us that trials and tribulations come our way in part to help us develop more patience.
Admittedly this is one of the most difficult obstacles to my Christian life. I wish that I could just chill out and stay calm more often than not. As with most faults, wishing that they will go away will not make it happen. If you are impatient like me, then you should put this on your self improvement list and work hard to turn it around.

James 1:3
My brethren, count it all joy
when you fall into various trials,
Knowing that the testing of your faith
produces patience.
But let patience have its perfect
work, that you may be perfect and
complete, lacking nothing.

How well do you know the Bible?
After the miracle of feeding the five thousand, Jesus performed another miracle of walking on water. When Jesus walked on water to join the disciples in the middle of a storm, one of the disciples tried to join Jesus by walking on the water too. When his faith faltered and he started to sink, Jesus had to save him. Jesus admonished him for lacking faith. Later this same disciple denied even knowing Jesus during His trial. The disciple certainly lacked faith at times; however after Jesus was crucified and appeared to him and the other disciples, he willingly gave his life for his faith in Jesus. Who was the disciple?
