Are you ashamed of anything you have done? Boy I am. Hardly a day goes by that I don’t do something that I regret. This morning is a fine example. I did not have my garage door opener/closer in my car, so I pulled my car out and got out of my car, went inside the garage and pushed the close switch. I went back out and got into my car, only to watch the garage shut and then open again for some unexplained reason.
Out I came with an oath that would make any sailor feel right at home.
I had to crawl back out of my sports car, go back in the garage and once again shut the door, muttering all of the way. This little episode occurred right after I had finished my morning prayers. ARGHHHHHHHHHH!

Why can’t I do the things I want to do and live a Godly righteous life?
I do not know, I struggle with it daily, but at least I do know that is why Jesus came to this earth. He was tempted just like we were except He did not succumb to it. He lived a perfect life and now stands ready to help us through the snares and temptations of this world. When we make mistakes, (sin), we have His saving grace that has overcome this world and all its unrighteousness. He is better than any doctor and can heal our wounds with the blood that He shed on a cross. I’m thankful for that event, but I am ashamed that so much of His precious blood has to be used to cover my sins.

Hebrews 4:15
For we do not have a High Priest
who cannot sympathize with our
weaknesses, but was in all points
tempted as we are, yet without sin.
Let us therefore come boldly to
the throne of grace, that we may
obtain mercy and find grace to help on
time of need.
