About six months ago I had to undergo a colonoscopy. I was given a gallon-plus of slimy horrible tasting swill laxative to drink in order to clear out my intestinal tract. It had a devastating effect on me and now I know why the doctor referred to it as a “blowout”. I also know why some refer to a toilet as a “thunder mug”. I spent so much time on it during this disturbing ordeal that my legs and butt were numb.
I subjected myself to this shocking event in order to find and remove any cancers that might have invaded my colon. It is a painful distasteful ordeal, but what the heck, it’s worth it to eradicate cancer from my system.
It is for similar reasons that on occasion I write about the current administration in Words for the Day, and in particular Obama. It removes any lingering cancerous liberals from my subscriber list; a liberal blowout for the colon of WFTD if you will.
Sure enough I had barely pressed the “publish” button to send out yesterday’s post in which I criticized those who might be inclined to vote for the existing prez, before I got the following e-mail response: “As a Christian and a fellow American I am shocked at your judgment of our seated President. I have enjoyed your Words for the Day but now feel that I need to find another source of inspiration. May God touch your heart to see the error of your judgment? I wish you no harm but want you to know how your words today are harmful to the unity of this nation.”
I would like to respond by saying that this reader’s idea of “Unity of this nation” is deeply offensive and “shocking” to me. I see no reason to unify behind someone who acts in the non-Christian manner in which Obama acts. In fact his actions are hideous and horrific to me. I’m disgusted at my subscriber’s thought process, (or lack thereof), whereby he thinks the Christians of this nation should unify behind someone who acts like anything but a Christian. Indeed I think we need to vote him out of office before he does further damage to our country.
Obama supports the horrible practice of partial birth abortion in which labor is induced and when the child’s head emerges, the doctor inserts a large needle into it to suck the child’s brains out with a syringe, or they use forceps to crush the skull. As a state senator this man, (Barack Obama, whom my subscriber wants to unify behind), voted in favor of legalizing infanticide, by voting to protect doctors who performed this grisly operation and after the child was removed from the womb, somehow the child survived only to have the doctor finish them off outside the womb.
Fact is stranger than fiction, Obama voted not only in favor of killing late term babies, but to protect those money grubbing doctors who kill those babies outside the womb that miraculously survive the abortion.
Obama sat for 20 years in Jeremiah Wright’s Chicago church, (I cannot bear to call this man Reverend). You remember him don’t you the man who screamed “The government wants us to sing ‘God Bless America.’ No, no, no, God damn America, he said in a 2003 sermon. “God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme.”
In addition to damning America, he told his congregation on the very next Sunday after that terrible dark day, Sept. 11, 2001, that the United States had brought on al Qaeda’s attacks because of its own terrorism.
Oh yeah let’s unify behind this man Obama who elected to choose Jeremiah Wright as his spiritual mentor and godfather of his children and sat there hanging on his every word for twenty some odd years.
Let’s unify behind the man who would not conduct a National day of prayer, but welcomed Muslims to celebrate Ramadan at the White House, and this stellar guy who banned the use of the word “Christmas tree” preferring “Holiday tree”.
I’m sorry if this does not “inspire” you to hear these things…

I think more people need to think this through and try to be objective. We need to realize just exactly who we are voting for.
You want unity?
Pray tell exactly how Obama’s non-unifying socialist class warfare strategy of dividing our citizens and pitting one group of folks, (the haves and the have nots) against one another does that…

The guy obama is a loser who never held a job and the United States is a bigger loser for electing him president and following him. If he is re-elected there will be hell to pay.
If you are all into that – “love a dub dub” – prosperity ministry of everything is just swell and goodness and peace; I say take up your sword, (vote), and use it to oust Obama before it is too late. Give Romney some money too! (While you still have any money…)
