I watched the following video with great amusement of Bill Clinton falling asleep during Hillary’s acceptance speech the other night.
It reminded me of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg falling asleep during President Obama’s State of the Union speech.
Justice Ginsburg admitted that she wasn’t “100 percent sober” at President Obama’s State of the Union address this year. I wonder if perhaps Bill had a little too much revelry prior to Hillary’s big moment too.
It was funny for me to watch Bill, and then remembering Justice Ginsburg (who just recently admitted that her bashing of Trump during an election was wrong for a Supreme Court Justice) doing the same thing; however, it did get me to thinking.
Bill reminds me of the American public sleeping through all of Hillary’s lies. Don’t tell me you don’t believe that she lies because this weekend she said on Fox News Sunday that she understands that Americans have a legitimate concern about her trustworthiness, particularly related to her email scandal and the Benghazi terror attacks. I suppose the evidence is so overwhelming and polls indicate that people will vote for her regardless of her being a liar that even she has finally admitted it.
So does this deter folks from voting for her for the highest office in the land?
Is the media in a frenzy over it?
Yeah . . .
Justice Ginsburg seems to get the same deference. The American public and the media just don’t seem to care about the problem that this ultra-liberal Supreme Court Justice (who should be impartial as a judge to the highest court in the land) bashes a candidate in an election for President. Not to mention admittedly coming to the State of the Union drunk? Just think about her voting on ending the slaughter of 60 million unborn babies.
So our nation has sunken to the low of not caring about honesty, character, and integrity when it comes to voting for leaders of the most powerful nation in the world.
I was amazed that former President Bill Clinton maintained such high ratings after being impeached for lying and cheating on his wife. His ratings went up. It seems his wife learned from that experience and now just breezes through scandal after scandal with no worries.
What is going on in this country? Sex, lies, and drunken Supreme Court judges falling asleep in front of millions of people all over the world.
Ugh!
Jesus is coming back and will rule the world for 1000 years. Man what a breath of fresh air that will be. Come quickly Lord . . .
