Don’t fade away

Some things in life don’t hold up. Living by the ocean reinforces that notion every day. After the latest hurricane brushed my backyard I noticed how my beautiful Bougainvilleas and other plants exposed to the sea completely withered from the salt spray and ferocious winds. They look like they have been in a fire. The Bible makes it clear that many things in our lives will wither and fade away but one thing remains steadfast, God’s word is the same today as it was billions of years ago and the same as it will be billions of years from now. I hope that is comforting to you as it is to me in this uncertain world and in these uncertain times…



Isaiah 40:8

The grass withers, the flower

fades,

But the word of God

stands forever.
