I attended a conference of world leaders yesterday whose goal it is to see the Great commission, (Gospel preached in all nations), accomplished ASAP. It was inspiring to say the least and I am more confident than ever that I will see it occur in my lifetime, (Lord willing).
Guess what? The fulfillment of the Great Commission is the only unfulfilled prophecy left to be accomplished prior to Christ returning for His church. Yes we are getting closer to the return of Christ and time is running out.
We heard the updates of efforts to translate Scripture into the remaining languages that don’t have a Bible; we heard of thousands of church plantings that are being made all over the world; we heard of missionaries that are training local leaders to teach and preach the Gospel; we were informed as to which countries that remain to be reached for the Lord and how long it will take to saturate them; how many people are accepting Christ as their Savior each day; how many are praying almost continuously, and on and on.
It was an action packed day and I came away exhausted but smiling. Regardless of what you see happening within and outside the church in this country and what is being reported by our secular media, the church is triumphing all over the world and God’s message is being preached to the entire world exactly as God predicted it would be preached.
Fearless believers are putting themselves in harm’s way to accomplish God’s will and to be sure many have been martyred in this noble effort, but progress is being made at a phenomenal rate and folks are coming to know Jesus in record numbers including Muslims all over the world.
It is fascinating to realize that so many smart, dedicated people are tirelessly working around the clock for Jesus Christ.
