I received a large number of unsubscribes from Words for the Day this week. I attribute them primarily to folks who are opposed to my writing about what is going on in this country with the evil power brokers in the world and in my posting the link to the video that details that information.
Interestingly the lady from Harvard that revealed much of this information to me was thrilled that we were willing to even listen to what she had to say. She went on to say that many of her friends and acquaintances would not even hear her out. When we asked why, she said she surmised it was because they didn’t want to hear anything negative.
This phenomenon is quite disturbing to me. A friend sent me the following quote yesterday: “I sought for the greatness of the United States in her commodious harbors, her ample rivers, her fertile fields, and boundless forests – and it was not there. I sought for it in her rich mines, her vast world commerce, her public school system, and in her institutions of higher learning – and it was not there. I looked for it in her democratic Congress and her matchless Constitution – and it was not there. Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits flame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power. America is great because America is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, America will cease to be great!”
This was written by Alexis de Tocqueville, after visiting America in 1831. No need to wonder what he would say about the greatness of the United States today. With few exceptions the flame of righteousness is no longer being preached from the pulpits anymore and our country has suffered mightily as a result. America is ceasing to be good and consequently it is ceasing to be great.
Why?
Preachers have quit preaching the truth.
Why?
I suppose it is an effort to make all the people happy all of the time by simply telling them what they want to hear.
In order to have revival and a Great Awakening, our nation must understand the axiom so eloquently described above by Alexis de Tocqueville. We must return to God and follow His commands if we are to survive.
I’m not saying, “woe is me – all is lost”; while some folks did unsubscribe from WFTD, it was miniscule compared to those who did not. I believe there is a remnant out there that still love the Lord and wish to remain true to their God. I call them “True Believers”.
It is the remnant that will lead the last great revival and once everyone has heard the Gospel preached True Believers will be removed from the world and those who are plotting to rule the world will be allowed that opportunity, and as the Bible warns, blood will run as high as a horses neck.
I intend to keep telling the truth even after the government shuts my WFTD site down and throws me in prison.
Sound like a bunch of hogwash?
Today it is illegal to quote what the Bible states about the sin of homosexuality in Canada and one can go to prison for preaching it from a pulpit and be prosecuted for a hate crime.
Yesterday in this country 42 Democrats introduced legislation – an amendment in the United States Senate – that will remove free speech from the Bill of Rights.
Are you awake yet?
This is not some vast left wing conspiracy; there is a definite strategic plan designed to destroy the country we love by those who hate her. Their ambitions are posted online and in books that are readily available on Amazon.com. Their plan is being scrupulously followed and those that stick their heads in the sand and try to ignore it are the problem. Dumb ostriches will perish as will frightened little sheep that try to outrun wolves. We must stand and fight.
Joel 3:9 – Proclaim this among the nations: Prepare a war; rouse the mighty men! Let all the soldiers draw near, let them come up! Beat your plowshares into swords And your pruning hooks into spears; Let the weak say, “I am a mighty man.” Hasten and come, all you surrounding nations, And gather yourselves there. Bring down, O LORD, Your mighty ones . . .
Stand up for your faith and stand up for America. Go to a church where the word is preached boldly and without compromise. Encourage your pastor to preach the truth and righteousness. Spread the truth yourself to anyone who will listen. The time has come when many will not endure sound doctrine, but keep preaching anyway.
Remember it is truth that sets us free!
2 Tim. 4:2
Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths . . .
