Last week I mentioned that there is a plethora of good news all over the globe regarding believers making extraordinary progress that never gets told. Instead we are fed a daily dose of the negative from a Godless media, (less than 2% of the media are believers) and other dark forces.
Well I’ve got some good news for you today; God is alive and well and He is assembling His “remnant” from all over the world for what I anticipate will be the last great revival. A reader wrote about this topic over the weekend and said in part:
When I was 9 years old my grandmother told me of the great revival that will soon burst upon this land. She said so many people would be saved that for a time it would “seem as if the entire world is coming home to God.” That will not be the case of course. Most will choose not to repent, but a very great many will be saved.
As you know, the Bible tells us in several places of the great revival that will come in the Last Days, the revival which we will all see beginning very soon. I am glad to hear that you are praying for it too. I am beginning to feel that it may begin this year, sometime before the mid-point of the year, possibly in some out of the way places as early as this next month. I know when it comes, it will be in places where neither man nor the enemy would expect it, for God intends to use the few, the small, the humble, those who man would not expect to be in the vanguard of the revival.
God told me many years ago that the revival would begin in the by-ways, not the high-ways and in the small churches not the big well known well established ones, and with preachers who are not well known. That way, it will be hard for the unbelievers and those who exalt man to give the glory anywhere except to God, (to whom all glory truly belongs).
Be blessed my brother and may the Spirit of God flow thru you like a mighty rushing wall of water thru a conduit.
This fellow is right on track with one exception; it has already started and he need wait no longer. In putting together the Renewal of America Founder’s Forum I’ve discovered that God is alive and well and is already moving in a mighty way. I’m going to share some of what I’ve discovered in the ensuing days and I hope you are as encouraged as I am in finding that we are not alone, and yes, someone IS doing something about our deteriorating shift away from God. In fact a number of “someone’s” have been called into action by God and are hard at work and the result of their hard work is nothing short of astonishing!
One of the best examples is an organization called Global Media Outreach, (GMO). It was founded by Walt Wilson a former Apple executive who resides part of the year in Silicon Valley and the other in Texas and currently serves as its Chairman. He sent me an e-mail over the weekend that describes the gains that his organization has made and how he wants to integrate my vision of creating a Library of Hope consisting of real people telling real stories of how they overcame real obstacles through the power of Jesus Christ.
Dear Bob
It was a delight to meet with you by phone and to hear your heart for the lost. Without question, we are products of His grace resulting in a burden for those trapped in circumstances we were liberated from. Each day I awake with the thought that He saw us and selected us from before the foundation of the world. How special is that?
Global Media Outreach vision:
- To make the gospel of Jesus Christ available to every person on earth.
- To disciple new believers in every nation
- To connect them to local churches and Christian communities
In summary form, we reach more than a million people every day from all nations on more than 250 web and mobile sites, in multiple languages, providing gut-level, highly personal ministry to seekers in crises through more than 8,500 missionaries. Our missionaries are located in just over 100 countries and continue to grow in outreach and location. We partner with churches to recruit, vet and train born-again followers of our Lord, Jesus Christ. (We reject nearly a third of applicants.)
In 2013 we reached a more than 300 million with the gospel seeing more than 32 million people indicate their decision for Jesus Christ in all 230 countries of the world. In 2014 our forecast (and prayer) is to reach 400 million. Our Arabic site, aimed at the Middle East reached 6 million Muslims with a half-million indicating their decision for Jesus Christ as Messiah! How many other Muslims we reached in English, French, Spanish, and German – and in places like Dearborn, Michigan, Paris, London . . . only the Lord knows.
We communicate to people on four major platforms:
- Websites
- Mobile sites
- APPs
- Social networks

I’m often asked how we generate such large volumes of traffic. Search Engine Optimization on our part helps, but the real power is the Holy Spirit and the Lord’s calling.
We present the gospel for a nickel to anyone, anywhere in the world; 5 people for every dollar. We could scale to 2 million a day but we simply run out of nickels. We do not have the funding to reach this year’s forecast . . . but we know God does.
We distribute digital Bibles as part of our discipleship program. Currently we are providing about 100-thousand Bibles annually in multiple languages. In many cases they go to people who will never meet a Christian and will never see a Christian bookstore. In some cases they can’t read, so each copy contains a voice option.
My dream and prayer is to become the largest Bible distributor on earth. Toward that end we are talking at the highest levels with ABS, Biblica, Wycliffe, and YouVersion, which covers all the Bible publishers.
In conclusion to an introduction of GMO . . . I believe we (all of us together as the Church) have been called to close the Great Commission in our lifetime. Toward that end we are developing a prospectus outlining in detail our role in following the Lord’s command.
We never charge anyone for anything and never will. We never accept advertising from anyone and never will. God’s Word is free and always will be.

Bob, my sense is at this point GMO has multiple platform communication technologies, outreach infrastructure, and massive global distribution. You have content that provides what the church does not – that of a relevant, hopeful message. Yours is content for the pastor, for the inactive Christian in the pew, and for a world starving for hope.
The world is not interested in our theology or doctrine. They see us as just another religion. As global chaos escalates they want to know if there is any hope. We can present Jesus as the only Hope of the World.

Yes my dear friends, God is ALIVE and well and is assembling the troops from all over this planet. You will no doubt want to be a part of it. How can you start right now? Begin by praying for the success of the Library of Hope and for the Renewal of America movement. Both of these projects will be opposed by satan and his vast army and I have no doubt that those of us trying to ignite revival in the world will come under fierce attack. Pray that the Lord will encircle us with a ring of fire and that He will go ahead of us and lead us as we march into battle. We will succeed because He is on our side.
