So, after much deep thought, soul searching, and consternation President Obama has declared to the entire world that he is now openly advocating same sex marriage in our nation. He stated it was an evolutionary process for him; so I suppose he is now fully evolved.
Hmmm… I’m tempted to argue this point, but an old adage comes to mind that prevents me from engaging in it: “Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience”.
I’m also refraining from arguing this decision, because I’m cognizant that there will be no argument that will win anyone over, and no changing of minds to those who blindly follow this crazed man, (including many readers of this column). No President of this great country has ever advocated same sex marriage nor has any civilization, modern or ancient since the beginning of time, but millions upon millions in this country will gleefully follow his lead.
What is up with that?
The Bible defines marriage as being between a man and a woman. Is the Bible a book of suggestions from which we may pick and choose the answers that we like best and discard the rest? I don’t think Obama and his progressive socialist party much care. Their idea of righteousness is that if it feels right, do it, and to hell with any Bible or right wing fanatic that believes it to be the unerring, holy word of God almighty.
David Wilkerson said that all true passion for Christ comes out of a baptism of anguish. Anguish means extreme pain and distress. The emotions so stirred that it becomes painful. Acute deeply felt inner pain because of conditions about you, in you, or around you. Anguish. Deep pain. Deep sorrow.
God experienced anguish. Imagine Him watching His Son kiss the cross. Imagine the agony of God’s heart as He considers His Holy Bible dictated by the Holy Spirit and written in the blood and tears of His prophets and holy men who were baptized in a sea of anguish being discarded like so much garbage by arrogant fools like Obama.
Our nation is at a tipping point. There used to be an advertisement on television that said: “It’s not nice to fool with Mother Nature”. Let me tell you it’s not nice to fool with God or His Holy word either. Read about the Jewish nation and the persecution that befell them when they rejected God and His commands. That my friends and foes is where this nation is headed under Obama and like minded people.
This Bible (that so many do not believe) states unequivocally that God will not be mocked. Let’s hope that we do not taste the anguish before we can become passionate for Christ and get this antichrist out of office.
Praise God for His patience with this unholy nation and pray that it continues.
The Bible tells us that a great cry is heard in heaven from martyrs who died to bring us the Bible and they ain’t calling for patience; they want justice and they want it now…
