I finished the entire rough draft of my book yesterday at 10AM. It was an emotional moment for me, one that brought tears to my eyes and down my face. Approximately two years of hard work, 80 chapters and 229,000 words later I have finished the difficult part and the rest is all downhill. Whew! Thanks to one and all for all of the prayers…

YIPPEE!

My son and I went dolphin fishing this morning and we had a stellar day and took a very nice bull dolphin and plenty of eating fish. By 10 AM we had all the fish we wanted and we returned home early. We had so many that I cleaned fish for over an hour and I am a fast fish cleaner. We will have a fish fry this evening and devour those bad boys.

The weather in the Keys is delightful with beautiful blue skies, puffy white clouds, and crystal clear deep blue water that is turquoise inside the reef.

In a little while I’m going swimming with my twin granddaughters and let them pull my hair.

Life is good.

Life is like a ping pong ball though, one minute you are gracefully soaring through the air and the next you are getting slammed and go careening wildly off the table, only to soar again. In one of my companies we had an unusually large deposit one morning and I was celebrating our good fortune. My second in command glumly said, “Yeah but that probably means tomorrow’s deposit will be pitiful. I chewed him out and told him that when you are on the peak, enjoy the scenery. There will be plenty of time to lament your misfortune when down in the valley.

I am on the peak and I am enjoying the scenery. God is good ALL OF THE TIME!

Psalm 23
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou anointest my head with oil; My cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
