Just in case, be ready for the Rapture

Some of you are getting WFTD two times per day. We do not know why yet, but we apologize and are working on it and please bear with us. We have not changed the publish feature for the software and have been using it error free for nine years without this problem. My technology guru thinks it may be due to the fact that the subscription base has doubled in the last year, (thank you). I suggested that it may be under attack by satan. He just smiled.

I have several friends and acquaintances that are currently under attack by satan and there is nothing there to smile about. I know more than one person that is currently struggling with alcoholism. I know several others that are addicted to drugs, some on prescription drugs and others on illegal drugs. I know two people who are currently cheating on their spouses. I know one person whose teenage daughter just got pregnant and she is just in the 10th grade. The list is long.

What do all of these people have in common? Their lives are being destroyed by sin. I pray for them, witness to them, but mainly watch helplessly as sin wrecks their lives. I pray that somehow they will return to God who can save them before they completely destroy their lives.

I am also praying for our nation which is under attack. Unfortunately our country’s leadership starting at the very top is in my estimation leading us on a path to utter destruction. For example, just yesterday our new President would not publically support national prayer day. Further, he recently refused to speak at a college until they covered a reference to Jesus Christ attached to the podium from which he spoke with a piece of “black” plywood. He along with a like-minded congress is strengthening abortion, stem cell research, and is engaged in other anti-Christ activity not the least of which will soon be his choice for a new Supreme Court judge. Sadly he has a very high approval rating. It is bewildering to me that our nation feels the way it does.

Make no mistake about it satan is attacking our country and we are sinking in our own sins. Gangs are flourishing and taking over entire communities whereby even the police are afraid to go into them. Drug cartels are murdering thousands in an all out war to win the right to reap the billions of dollars that millions of our citizens including youngsters are paying for drugs. Teen pregnancies are on the rise again. Alcoholism is at an all time high. Pornography has become accepted and one form of it or another is now a common occurrence on most television shows. Homosexual marriage is being legalized in state after state. The list is long.

The bottom line in this country reads: God is out and sin is in.

We must pray for revival and do our part to combat sin by resisting this all out attack by satan towards us, our families, and our country with all of our fiber. Sin will destroy individual lives and it will destroy our nation as it has untold nations before us. There are countless examples in the Bible of God’s judgment on individuals and nations like the United States that turn their backs on God. Hopelessness, despair, misery, unhappiness, and a restless existence come from sin, but that is not the worst of it. God’s judgment and ultimate destruction is what we should really fear.

Our country’s founders realized that this country would flourish if we became “One nation under God”. Under their leadership we achieved a great nation. Pray that we return to that philosophy before it is too late and just in case be ready for the Rapture
