Former President Trump is yet again a target of the radical left Democrats. His home was raided last night by some 100 FBI agents purportedly looking for classified documents. Even if their investigation found some documents all but the brain dead would know that as a former President this could hardly be a crime. He was the one who determined if documents should be classified and could declassify anything he wanted.
This indeed could end up being a precursor to a civil war. 77 million people voted for Trump and are not going to take it lightly that the Democrats have weaponized the justice department. Nor are most Americans in favor of the Democrats new law which calls for further wrecking the economy with massive taxation and liberal cause spending and hiring a massive number of IRS agents. Think about 77 thousand new IRS agents attacking whoever’s finances they want or even more concerning that the threat of an expensive IRS investigation will stifle free expression even more.
We are moving towards a police state; indeed, we are already there.
If Trump is barred from running for President will the nation revolt? Countries all over the world have experienced civil war or are experiencing it right now. On March 23, 1775, Patrick Henry signaled the coming revolution when he spoke at a Virginia convention and famously said: “Give me liberty, or give me death!” Our country was founded on this premise. I know a man who has stocked up on guns and ammo in preparation for an armed conflict. He has at least 100 guns, many of them AR style and tens of thousands of rounds of ammo and he told me that he is ready to defend his family and country.
What a mess we have gotten ourselves into. Our nation is as polarized as it can get. Groups of people are ready to fight and die for what they believe in on both sides. One reason we have not been invaded is because of the number of guns in the hands of citizens in this country. The Small Arms Survey stated that U.S. civilians alone account for 393 million (about 46 percent) of the worldwide total of civilian held firearms. This amounts to “120.5 firearms for every 100 residents.” If a war broke out and went urban, it could last for a very long time.
We live in uncertain times and chaos rules. If we go back to Genesis chaos is what God saw when He looked at earth. He blessed it and changed it and brought light to its darkness. But we have all but ruined it like throwing a beer can out on a pristine lake with unfathomable sin destroying all semblance of good. I wonder what God is thinking right now. He knows how everything turns out and is not concerned with the events transpiring in the United States or indeed the world. His timetable for the return of Jesus will not be rushed or delayed. I believe that abortion and other crimes break His heart though.
The Bible tells us not to worry and that it is a sin to do so. I’m not worried about the wicked in the world. God will take care of them in his own good time. In the meantime, I will do whatever I can to protect my family. I know I’m an excellent marksman and if it ever comes to armed conflict, they will rue the day they enter my property. The second amendment was designed to enable us to protect ourselves from the government through keeping a well-armed militia. It was not entirely designed to protect the right to hunt or target practice. Our forefathers experienced their own police state and successfully freed themselves from it and put that amendment in to prevent a tyrannical government to do it again.
As Teddy Roosevelt once said, “speak softly but carry a big stick”. If you don’t have a big stick with which to protect your family, there are plenty of gun stores and classes that will teach you how to use them safely. John Adams said, “Arms in the hands of citizens may be used at individual discretion for the defense of the country, the overthrow of tyranny, or private self-defense.”
I hope that a civil war does not break out in the United States. If it does, I will reluctantly join the fray. Even though the men in our country are rapidly becoming emasculated and feminine, I believe millions of other red-blooded patriots will defend their country against all threats. This is a clear and present danger, and I would not scoff at the notion.
