The real problem

I saw a recent Gallup poll that showed that the number of people who say they read the Bible at least some of the time has dropped from 78% to 59% in just 10 years. All of the “talking heads” who are trying to figure out school shootings and related acts of insanity need look no further. The United States will continue on its path towards destruction unless it returns to the Lord. Another city that was going that direction reversed itself when God sent Jonah to preach to them. His message was so effective that every person in the city of Nineveh repented of their sin and returned to worshipping God.
My prayer is for a modern day Jonah, or perhaps a whole army of them, that can bring revival to the United States.

God was prepared to destroy this city, but when they repented, He forgave them. He will do that for this great country and He will do it for us as individuals, regardless of our past. That is very cool!
