It is interesting to see how the Afghan people have rejoiced at the fall of the Taliban. I was very surprised to learn that the Taliban was a small minority that controlled the vast majority. Here in the United states we see much the same thing on a smaller scale. Too often our lives are controlled by the vocal minority while the silent majority idly stands by and lets them get away with it. They most often go after Christian values, but they also attack our country. There are many disgusting stories going around the internet whereby workers have been forbidden from flying American flags because the vocal minority is afraid that someone, somewhere might possibly be offended by it. With patriotism running high right now perhaps we can gain some ground.
Christians are banned from being in the silent majority by God.
Christians have been given something referred to in the Bible as the “Great Commission”. We are not to live our lives keeping our views about Jesus to ourselves. We should be the vocal majority; not the silent majority. We have been instructed by Jesus Himself to share the
gospel throughout the world. We should rise up against and loudly
object when the ACLU and other organizations try to push their antichrist agenda down our throats. We should share the gospel with anyone we can. We have been given the light and we need to share it with those in the dark.
Have you invited anyone to church lately? Do you know someone who needs Jesus? Have you shared what He has done for you with them? Why not do so today? Most of the people that I have talked to about this subject always come back with the old story that “I would not know what to say”, “I do not know the Bible well enough”, etc. Actually knowing what to say is the easy part. Jesus takes care of that part for us. Read what the Bible says about it.
