Many of you failed to receive my post from Friday because it was withheld from you due to its message that the titans at Google and elsewhere did not like. If you did not receive your regular Words for the Day through your email as usual you will need to go online and read it on my website, www.WordsfortheDay.org. I assume the content I sent including photos of Presidential candidate Mayor Pete Buttigieg kissing his “husband” and mentioning abortion as dark sins triggered the freedom of speech killer algorithms of the Silicon Valley masters.
So Bernie Sanders and an array of other socialist thinking candidates are leading the pack of kooks running for the White House. I assume censorship will get worse If they win. Not much free speech in Venezuela and other socialist countries these days. Of course the Democrat bosses are desperately trying to prevent Bernie from getting the nomination as they did last election with Hillary. Oh yeah, Hillary Clinton, remember her? The great hope of the mainstream media seems to be destined to be on the Mike Bloomberg ticket for leading this country. Yep you heard right, Hillary is back which goes to prove that you just can’t kill bad grass. Right when you think it is gone, it emerges from a crack in the concrete.
So Bloomberg just has a recording come out in which he told his audience that the young blacks of New York City should be stopped on the street and thrown against the wall and searched. Today a woman who allegedly had an affair with him came out and said that when she got pregnant with Bloomberg’s child, he told her: Kill it! Of course this will not make the light of day in the mainstream media and Hillary, the darling of Planned Parenthood who has never seen an abortion she wouldn’t support and her sordid history of corruption and lying will likewise be buried. Sadly nearly half of the people in this country support Democrats and their anti-God plank. I’m astounded by that.
I wrote yesterday of swarms of billions of locusts devouring entire farms in 30 seconds guaranteeing unprecedented famine and death throughout Africa, plagues like the Coronavirus that forecasters are currently estimating will affect 6 ½ million people with deadly consequences, a meteorite landed in India, earthquakes occurring all over the world, fires burning Australia to the ground and so on. It appears to be akin to the biblical stories in Exodus and that is not the only correlation. The reaction by the world to these warnings is one of ambivalence just like it was in pharaoh’s day. There is no run on churches with people praying for forgiveness of sin. There is no turn to morality, repentance, seeking God, and certainly no sign of humbleness or contriteness of any kind except for the many Christians who are indeed praying for worldwide repentance and for righteous leaders to be elected. At the end of the day, prayer is the best thing we have going for us. But there is a caveat.
My life’s verse is Phil. 4:13 and it states that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” It is a beautiful encouraging verse, but many people don’t read it carefully. It does not state that Christ will do all things for me. It says “I” can do all things through Christ. I have told many of my prayer warrior friends that we should pray while we are walking. In other words don’t just sit back and shake your head and whine and rock back and forth praying, get out there and have an impact and do our share of the equation. Volunteer to work to elect those righteous leaders, run for the school board, speak out and show up at rallies and march for life and other worthy causes, and yes, prayer is vital to the process but combine action with prayer and fasting and watch for the mighty hand of God to strike down our opponents and answer us in supernatural ways . . .
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
