Recently our company completed a monumental project with simply
outstanding results. A large number of our employees were involved. I
am so happy that they were able to participate because they got to see first hand how to set a goal, work exceedingly hard towards accomplishing it and then be able to stand back and feel the complete satisfaction of having succeeded. It took tremendous effort on many people’s parts. They worked long hours and there were some tense and stressful moments, and it looked at times like we might not succeed, but through teamwork, very hard work, and sacrifice, we prevailed. I believe that it is impossible to convey the tremendous feeling that is the result of accomplishing significant goals to someone who has never had a bold idea and worked with complete passion in order to pull it off. As you cross the finish line and achieve the desired results, the satisfaction of having achieved a difficult goal makes all of the frustrations and stress disappear, although having gone through it and conquered it, makes it that much sweeter. It feels good to be a winner!

God wants us all to be winners. Satan wants us to fail. God has bestowed different gifts on us that enable us all to be winners. We should use those gifts to the best of our ability in order to glorify Him and be a good steward of what he has bestowed upon us. Don’t be lazy and waste your gifts, always taking the easy way through life and never accomplishing anything. This is not a dress rehearsal. Life is short and we need to make the most of it! Give it your all and when it is all over and you stand before your Lord, how sweet it will be to hear Him tell you, “Well done!”.

_____________

Proverbs 13:4
The soul of a lazy man desires,
and has nothing;
But the soul of the diligent
shall be made rich.
