I spoke with someone recently who felt that Hell is not a literal place of fire and brimstone and that a loving God would not punish anyone that severely. I believe that we all have to base our faith upon something.
As for me I believe in the Bible, not my own intuition, logic or hunches. Jesus spoke often of fire and brimstone and the consequences of rejecting the only Son of God. The Bible is explicit about it in many passages throughout the Bible. How can it be ignored? The Bible states that God does not change. His laws are forever. We cannot selectively edit out of the Bible passages with which we disagree. The liberals want to say it is all right to be “gay”, it is all right to get an abortion, it is all right to divorce whenever you get tired of your spouse, have an “affair”, for Bill Clinton to tell lies, for movie stars to steal, etc. etc. They do not believe in Hell; they want “tolerance”
towards religions that deny His son Jesus’ deity and/or His very existence.
Opinions change like the wind, but God’s laws never change. If you have
doubts, go back to the Bible. Listen to what GOD has to say about
these subjects and base your beliefs on that. Believe in the Bible.
Hell is real and we should all best believe it…

Rev 21:7
He who overcomes shall inherit
all things, and I will be his God and
he shall be My son.
But the cowardly, unbelieving
abominable, murderers, sexually
immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all
liars shall have their part in the lake
which burns with fire and brimstone,
which is the second death.
