My schedule is unmerciful. Words for the “Day”, may need to be changed to Words for the Week, or Sporadic Words, or something. I am trying to find a way to make it more consistent. Sometimes I fly all night, get up early often without access to a computer or Internet connection, am dead dog tired, am in meetings all day, or whatever and I just cannot get to it. WFTD suffers. One of my goals this year is to find a way to consistently send our WFTD even if I am personally overwhelmed with an unmerciful schedule, on vacation et al…I’m sure if I make up my mind to do it that I can find a way. All of us can find a way to share with others about the Lord if we really put some thought and effort in it.
Christmas is right around the corner. We are not celebrating the arrival of Santa, we are celebrating the birth of Jesus who loved us enough to lower Himself from His throne to be born in a lowly barn and eventually to be crucified horribly on an old rugged cross in order that we might spend eternity with Him. He did this for you and for me because He loves us. We all need to make Him the highest priority in our lives because we love Him. As you decide what gifts you want to give to whom, think about what gift that you want to give to Jesus this year. We cannot match His gift to us; He gave His life for us, but most of us, if not all, can do better than we are doing…Unmerciful schedule or not, this puts everything in perspective for me and I hope for you…

Ephesians 1:7
In Him we have redemption
through His blood, the forgiveness
of sins according to the riches of
His grace.
