Heaven

Did you ever wonder if people are married in heaven? The Bible is very clear that this is not the case. In fact Jesus Himself answered this question directly for the Sadducees when they quizzed Him on who would end up in heaven with a wife who had been widowed numerous times. (see how he answered below).

This is one huge problem for the Mormon religion as I see it, as they believe that your earthly family continues after this life and they put tremendous emphasis on continuation of earthly family after death. The focus in heaven will be on Jesus, not us. This is difficult for some who want to focus on themselves and their earthly lives and families. Unfortunately for those who are totally absorbed with themselves, it is hard to understand that we were all created to serve God, and not ourselves and/or our spouses. We are in God’s family, not vice versa. Keep in mind the true purpose of ALL life and it will help you to understand how you should live your life and how to prioritize things.
