I talked with former majority leader of the House Tom Delay yesterday and I remain impressed with his faith. Democrats crucified him with totally fabricated false charges that ended up with him having to leave the House of Representatives and then unbelievable legal fees which brought him to financial ruin. His legal fees were over $11 million and if not for some donors who still believed in him he’d be sitting in jail on trumped up charges, because he doesn’t have money like that. What made it so bad was the charges were totally made up and after a decade plus long battle he was totally exonerated a couple of years ago.
Tom made many enemies because he would not back down, (his nickname in the House was The Hammer). He was very effective in hammering enough votes to achieve victory in legislative battle after battle and they even passed a balanced budget while he was majority leader. The Democrats and media hated him for
his effectiveness and their attack machine went into overdrive to remove him
from office.
They drummed him out of office and he and his wife suffered financial ruin,
severe stress, and anxiety.
Today the same group of people are effectively ruining effective patriots on a daily basis. Innocent until proven guilty has been replaced with guilty even if innocence is proven. It reminds me of a pack of ravenous wolves taking down a majestic elk in the snow.
Tom once told me that they made an example out of him and the message is clear: if someone doesn’t bow to the left’s demands then what happened to Tom Delay will happen to you.
No one has experienced it as much as Donald Trump. They are pursuing constant unrelenting media bombardment to include cable and mainstream media MSNBC, CNN, ESPN, ABC, CBS, NBC, and even conservative outlets such as Fox are being overtaken.
They are joined by all of social media to include Google, Facebook, Snapchat, and Twitter. Recently Facebook Czar Mark Zuckerberg admitted that under oath that Facebook censors conservative material and Google is facing congressional hearings on their practice of manipulating searches to bring up far-left sites.
Newspapers like the NYT, Washington Post and myriads of others do everything they can to bring him down.
Their strategy is simple: attack, attack, attack on a 24/7 basis. The media is joined by deep state entrenched bureaucrats within the CIA, FBI, and Justice Department who are determined to undermine him at every turn. And who can forget Hollywood, Nashville, and professional sports.
And America hating George Soros who pays thugs like Antifa, Black Lives Matter, the Communist Party, and others to demonstrate.
Is this all some far-right conspiracy theory? Well, ask yourself where you can find truth? Sadly, there are few options. The last figure I saw 86% of people don’t trust the news they are getting. I wonder what that percentage is in Iran, North Korea, Cuba, and Russia?
Without truth how can you find peace? How can you find joy?
During his ordeal Tom Delay turned to God as he’d never done before, and but for Him would not have survived his ordeal. Yesterday he was in great spirits even though his wife’s health is not the best. I ask you to pray for them both, they have suffered enough.
I laughingly remarked that he suffered like Job and he immediately said, “And I praise God for it!”
I responded that I’ve endured more than my share of tragedy and always thought that the verse in Romans 5:3 was very difficult to adhere to unless one was a masochist: Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us…
Christ reminds us that we are in a spiritual war of good against evil. The reason I called Tom was to thank him for his work in rounding up over 150 co-sponsors of the anti-abortion “Heartbeat Bill”

Don’t be afraid for suffering for doing what is right. God will right all wrongs. The Apostle Peter exemplified it when he was martyred and today is being rewarded by Jesus in heaven forever. He wrote:

But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats.
